Very cool little spot! The food was pretty good and the portions are very well served, staff took good care of us and we all had a great experience.
Some dishes were pretty cheap but some will cost a bit more but over all worth it since the amount of food served is enough to take home.
About 10 min wait to get seated.

It’s a very small restaurant. It has about 10 seating area. The waitress were very good. As we were waiting for our food were seen some plates come out for the other table and each and everyone of them looked and smell good. I will definitely be going back when I get in town.

A Hidden Gem Worth the Drive from Jax!
We took a drive up from Jacksonville and almost thought we had the wrong GPS address when we pulled into a gas station parking lot. Since it was already 8:00 PM, we decided to head inside anyway and boy, are we glad we did!
The moment we walked in, we were hit with that unmistakable, delicious aroma of a real Italian pizzeria, just like back in New York. We were a group of four and received a warm, immediate welcome. Our server was incredibly friendly, offering great suggestions, and our food arrived surprisingly fast.
The Food:
Everything was fresh and high-quality. We started with the vegetable soup, salad, and a decadent garlic bread with melted mozzarella. For entrees, we had the lasagna, the creamy chicken and shrimp Alfredo, and the chicken parmigiana. Everything was superb. We even took home a pizza, calzones, and a dessert spread of cannoli, tiramisu, and strawberry cheesecake!
The Value & Vibe:
In a time where restaurant prices have skyrocketed, Angelo’s remains incredibly affordable. While the decor is simple, the local atmosphere made our night. The people were so kind…one gentleman offered to take our group photo, and we had a lovely chat with a local who couldn’t believe one of us had never been to Georgia!
We couldn’t care less about the “ambiance” when the food and service are this fantastic. This is the best review I’ve given a restaurant in years. Angelo’s is now a destination for us. We will definitely be back!

Mom’s calzone was so big she brought home half of it to eat for lunch the next day. Hubby and I split a delicious pizza! Our server was super friendly and attentive, too.

I’m sure there are local restaurants like this everywhere. They’ve got their own flavor , their own italian recipes. Really glad I came here. The portions are huge and delicious. They’re also very fast with their service. Don’t do a national chain, eat local. We need more places like this.

This place brought back memories of my favorite Italian restaurant when I was a kid. Of course it was called Angelo’s as well. The food was absolutely delicious and portion sizes were large! Our service was great and professional and the food was served quickly.

Lovely little restaurant with great food and large serving. We like the Betty, Delores and Shirley, all are enough to share. It’s always clean.

Had 2 pasta dinners to go: meatballs and ala Napoli. Freshly prepared Napoli with great mix of Basil and garlic. Ample portions, not huge. Garlic and cheese bread was very good. Pleasant, fast service. Convenient to hotels, walking distance from many.

This was our first experience at Angelo’s and hopefully not our last. We LOVED the food so much! We ordered wine, beer, cheese toast (garlic bread with cheese), and the crazy Italian dinner (spaghetti with meatballs, pepperoni, cheese, olives, etc). My husband and I shared it. It was plenty for the two of us. We only had a 5-10 minute wait for a table around 6:30 on a Saturday.
