Family-friendly Italian eatery serving casual basics along with exotic dishes such as octopus salad.

I was skeptical when I heard the good reviews of this place because it is square in the middle of tourist Sausalito where you don’t ordinarily get first class food. But was I ever wrong. It’s a lovely restaurant with very friendly service, nice room with a view of the city, and, most importantly, fantastic food. The scallops were particularly good: small firm, and as sweet as they come. The octopus appetizer was a nice mix of ingredients, with perhaps a bit too much vinegar. The mushrooms served over the veal were incredibly flavorful. Even had a minor celebrity sighting at the bar (Barry Bonds). Seemed to be a lot of regulars. Prices about normal for an upscale restaurant: 3 courses and wine came to $135/person with tip.

I recently visited Angelino Restaurant and had a really nice experience. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with a cozy dining area and friendly staff who made us feel welcome right away.
The pizza was delicious — the crust had a great balance of crispness and chew, and the toppings were fresh and flavorful. It definitely felt like an authentic Italian touch. They also have other Italian dishes on the menu that looked tempting, so I’d love to come back and try more.
Service was attentive without being overwhelming, and the location by the water adds to the charm of the place. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is that it can get busy, and the wait time for food was a little longer than expected.
Overall, a great spot for pizza and Italian food — I’d recommend it if you’re in the area!

We that was the best cioppino I’ve ever had. I am a French chef and I know. Wish we had taken a photo but we were in the moment and had to start eating immediately. Monday night dinner.
Must come here every Monday and any day of the week. Service incredible, drinks amazing. Atmosphere, super cozy, but also dreamy fancy. And the view is romantic.
Enjoy!

Indulging in authentic Italian flavors at this restaurant was an absolute treat! The bolognese was rich and flavorful, perfectly complemented by the freshly made noodles.
The bread, with its crispy exterior and pillowy soft interior, was a delightful addition to the meal.
However, the noisy ambiance slightly dampened the dining experience. And the price was a little pricey overall given the portion of one pasta served.
Nevertheless, for those craving genuine Italian fare, this spot is worth a visit!

Love the restaurant super cute. The lady seating was super sweet. Food was phenomenal specially the bolognese. Service was okay, there was a server there I wish I remembered his name but he was more attentive than our server.

First dinner experience was great! The best pizza we’ve had so far in Sausalito and house made burrata – both delicious. Our server apologized for the misshapen pizza but we just thought it was made with love ❤️
Quaint atmosphere, family owned and operated and great service.

For the price, I was pretty disappointed. The pizza was ok. Crust was flaky, almost like a pastry instead of pizza crust. The gnocchi was horrible. I expected an italian restaurant to have wonderful gnocchi and this wasn’t good at all. Server wasn’t very attentive. View is beautiful, you can sit outside.

The setting is gorgeous, so that adds a wonderful ambiance. Having just visited Italy, the food here was good but not amazing. We had the focaccia, gnocchi and chicken secondi. The waitstaff was surprisingly standoffish and brusque the entire time. That was pretty off putting, especially given the prices. I expect excellent service at this price point

I was very disappointed by the linguine vongole, neither the pasta nor the clams had much flavors. My kids enjoyed the magherita pizza, which looked like an average skinny cheese pizza. The service was below average and it looks like a small number of servers working many tables. Bread never came even though we asked for it. We sat outside which had an amazing view. My daughter was cold and asked for the heat lamp to be turned on. The server couldn’t turn it on, went away without saying anything. We waited another 8 min before someone else came to turn it on, but it barely worked and we didn’t feel any warmth from it. It was early July and 55 degrees, which made for a cold experience. The bill for 3 main dishes and 1 glass of wine was $140. I’m happy to overpay for good food and experience but it was neither.

Love this place, great views, great food, great service. We ordered the daily fish special, seabass on a bed of couscous and vegetables, plus the scampi entree. We ordered the squid and shrimp appetizer, but the real stars were the entrees. Recommended.
Warning, adjacent parking lot doesn’t post all it’s prices, SUVs incur an extra charge.
