I hadn’t been to this Angelina’s location before today when I stopped in for lunch with a friend of mine. The atmosphere was laid back and the staff were friendly. We split a 12″ steak bomb and, while messy, the absolute mountain of meat, cheese, and veggies was quite satisfying.

Well first time going there was today came all the way from Albany drive a school bus so we went there to grab lunch. We ordered ahead didn’t realize there was three locations. We went to the one furthest away from our school when we got there the lady wasn’t very Nice to us also charge us $43 for two Philly cheesesteaks and an order of sweet potato fries the food was nothing to brag about and the price was just ridiculous for two subs so I think I’m gonna give the one hosatonic road a try The lady seemed way more friendly when we went there to get our food, but it was at a different location and the place just all in all looked cleaner smelled better. I think it’s nice just to be approached by someone friendly when you’re getting Food starts it off the right way so I’m gonna give them another try. Only this time I’ll be getting a cold Sub definitely not a Philly cheesesteak

I can only speak to the sandwich that I ordered – but Angelina’s is ALWAYS on my list of places to visit when I’m in Pittsfield.

The bread is so soft, bologna is delicious, and whatever oil & spices that they use – I’ve never found elsewhere to this date. I just love the combination of flavors. ❤️

I’ll always come back to visit and support when I’m in the area. ❤️ Thanks for making my visit wonderful.

This place had some of the best cheesteaks I’ve ever had! Like on same par as Philly good! Bread was so fresh and soft and it was piping hot. Definitely a must stop if you’re in area!

I moved to the area about a year ago, and since then, I’ve constantly heard people talk about this place in a pretty negative way. My partner even went once with colleagues and came back saying it was…meh. Nothing to write home about, and the service wasn’t great either. But we’re not the type to judge a place off one experience, so today we decided to try it out together.

Unfortunately, I get why people feel the way they do, and honestly, I was blown away by how negative the vibe was.

The woman who took our order was incredibly condescending. From the moment I walked in, it felt like I was being rushed to know exactly what I wanted. (For context: the restaurant was empty, so there was no reason to act like I was holding up a line.) I even said, “It’s my first time here,” hoping she’d be a little helpful, but nope, still got the attitude.

When I finally decided, I asked if cheese came on the sub, and if not, could I add some? She glared at me and said flatly, “That’s a 75-cent charge,” then just stared. I said, “Oh, that’s fine, thank you” and she literally sighed, rolled her eyes, and turned away to make the food. No indication whether we should sit, pay, wait, just overall a really uncomfortable interaction.

And as if the awkward service wasn’t enough, there are no restrooms, even though there are tables to sit and eat. Weird, right?

Now, about the food. If the food had been amazing, I could’ve maybe overlooked the vibe (though let’s be real, I shouldn’t have to). But sadly, the food was just…not it. Barely any meat, way too much bread, practically no mayo. iIt was honestly a sad excuse for a sub.

This was my first and definitely my last time at Angelina’s Subs. The negative talk I’ve heard about this place? Not just buzz. I’m here to confirm it’s true.

The only thing getting a star is the name. Sandwiches suck. Ordered a Reuben sandwich(the most regular one that comes as in the menu), unfortunately there is no taste to it. All I taste is the sauerkraut. A ton of it. If have an option…Try something else! Literally three, thin slices of actual meat. This would be an excellent spot for vegetarians.

Worst Sub I’ve had in a LONG TIME! I ordered an “ORIGINAL” DRY so the bun would not get soggy. This is what I got. Bologna, Salami & Cheese……..NOT A SINGLE VEGETABLE ON THIS SUB!!!! I’m PASSING THE WORD ON SO OTHERS DON’T GET “STUCK” with this type of GARBAGE.

Came here as a kid, came to visit after 13 years, the meatball sub tasted as it did in my days, nostalgically good! The ladies working there were great!
