The most amazing food , great service – Christopher makes the best spicy margaritas. The owner seems to hang out and know a lot of locals that seem to visit often. We went twice in a few days and they remembered us . Everyone was very nice . Pasta and shrimp was delicious and mg husband had the rib eye

July 2025 updating my review because we ate here again during our recent visit to the area: we have been to Angelina’s before during a previous trip to the area – my husband had a drink here 3 years ago that he was looking forward to, unfortunately it wasn’t on the menu but he asked our waitress about it and she asked other staff members – they did some digging and found the recipe for the drink, they were missing one liquor for it but substituted it with something else and it was on point. We appreciated how out of their way they went to make the drink he requested.
This is a great place to eat! Each night we walked by this place it was lively and we knew we had to try it. It was the most expensive meal for us since being here, but it was well worth it and we hadn’t eaten all day so we ordered an appetizer, salad, two entrees and drinks. The staff were all so pleasant from the moment you arrive until you leave. Food was delicious, everything is a la carte, drinks were great the atmosphere was relaxing with a nice ambiance. Picture of drinks show Flamingo View on the left and Rock Lobster on the right. The staff even wiped down the table after taking dishes away if they noticed food that missed the plate (this is not something I typically see back home). Very attentive, we had Rodney as our waiter and he even asked how we liked our drinks, strong or sweet. I like mine on the sweeter side so he took my drink back and had it fixed. We highly recommend Angelina’s, we’ll definitely be going back.

Overpriced and overrated restaurant. Salmon was extremely grease, the only taste it had was the oil it was drenched in. The napkins in the pictures are the grease that came off of half the salmon. It was also burned. For almost $30, unacceptable. Risotto was good tho

The food was not up to par compared to the price. It lacked seasoning. I suppose the seasoning has been toned down to account for the touristic area it is in and to accommodate the (mostly white) population that eats here. For taste, you’re better off eating at a soda. Service was very good as was the atmosphere; however the food left a lot to desire.

Aldo was the best waiter ever! We would come back just for him!! We hope everyone notices how amazing he is. He truly loves his job and it shows. The food and atmosphere is great also. We had the catch of the day along with the shrimp pasta and we ordered a side of the Thousand layer potato as well. I highly recommend the German chocolate cake cocktail.

We were a group of 8 adults looking for a nice meal and entertainment. The food was awesome, we had the pad thai, pizza, calamari, fish.
Portions were more than enough and we had the chance to have a lovely singer for the evening.

We spent 8 wonderful days in Playa Flamingo and dined at Angelina’s several times. What truly sets this restaurant apart is their exceptional customer service. Arjori and Pablo were outstanding! Arjori remembered our favorite drinks and dishes, and even moved our table for us to enjoy live music, which we had mentioned we loved the night before.
As for the food, it was consistently delicious. We enjoyed the catch of the day (usually Sea Bass or red snapper), pizza, and shrimp with pasta—all fantastic! And don’t miss the edamame; it was a highlight!
Highly recommend Angelina’s for a memorable dining experience!

It’s a lovely spot, very nice to be a up on the second floor balconies so we get a really lovely breeze. The view is nice over the small courtyard, the other restaurants, and the towers nearby. The service was impeccable, everybody was really truly lovely and accommodating .
We found our two meals to be pleasant, though we both thought they could use a bit more flavour (beyond garlic, a bit of depth with herbs and spices would make it more memorable). We will certainly try it again !

Awesome service by Argerie and her staff. Meal was delicious, Mahi Mahi. Best dinner so far in Playa Flamingo. Argerie explained in detail all the gluten free options, with many options. We will be back.

One of our favorite places to go in Playa flamingo. The drinks are great. The food is great and the service is exceptional. Many of the staff remembered us from the prior year and we received such a warm greeting. They have live music on Friday and Saturday nights where you can dance and it is a great time for people of all ages! Can’t recommend this place enough!!
