Reviews
Ignore all the bad reviews and make your own informed decision.
Lots of bad reviews complaining about the price. Well, you get what you pay for. If you want cheap pizza, get carryout from Domino’s. If you want quality pizza with quality ingredients, you can’t go wrong here! Must try the Moda Da Casa pizza! Worth every penny.
The biggest issue isn’t the food — it’s the customer service, especially the delivery side. The drivers are consistently rude, impatient, and unprofessional. They call and text repeatedly, often before they’ve even arrived, expecting you to be waiting on the curb the moment they pull up. It feels intrusive and stressful — almost like you’re being rushed or scolded for not being ready fast enough. Sometimes they even text your personal phone directly, which feels like crossing a line.
I get that delivery drivers are busy and under pressure, especially on weekends. But that’s true everywhere — and other restaurants manage to handle it without making the customer feel like an inconvenience. I’m not expecting special treatment, just basic courtesy and respect. When I tip 20% (and I always do), I expect that the driver at least completes the delivery with professionalism — not drop the food and speed off or act annoyed.
It’s disappointing because I actually prefer Angelina’s food over most local spots, but I find myself ordering elsewhere just to avoid the aggravation. I used to recommend this place to people all the time, but I can’t anymore because the service has become so unpleasant.
If management happens to read this: please take the feedback seriously. Train your staff and delivery drivers on how to communicate respectfully with customers. A little kindness and patience go a long way — and people remember it. The food is great, but service matters too. I’d love to be able to enjoy your food again without dreading the interaction that comes with it.
Edit: After posting this, I noticed one of the owner’s public responses to another customer’s review — and honestly, that said it all. If you’re going to speak to customers in such a condescending way, you shouldn’t be running a business. Plain and simple. Customer feedback should be taken seriously, not mocked.
Angelina’s could easily be one of the best spots around again if they focused on treating their customers with the same care they put into their food. But until that happens, it’s just not worth the frustration.
I ordered a burger with NO ONION due to an allergy. It was on the receipt but my burger came with onions dripping out of it.
When I called the woman said I could pick them off and call her next time for a discount.
I told her I couldn’t do that and I wanted my dinner, as the rest of my family had theirs. She said I could pick it up or pay again since they would get charged a delivery fee… WHAT?
She kept insisting I pick them off and call back for a discount in the future. Seems ridiculous since this isn’t my mistake!
I asked to speak with a manager or owner and got no where. Finally she asked “do you want another burger” and I said “yes, that is all I have been asking you for” and she said fine and hung up.
This is the third time now they’ve gotten an order wrong and every time their response is unhelpful and uncaring.
I will say that over the years their food has been exceptional, it’s a family favorite we are just very disappointed in this customer service experience.
