Overall good experience. Our service was friendly and knowledgeable. The restaurant is accommodating and allows substitutions in your menu choice if necessary. The complimentary bread isnt anything spectacular but still appreciated. We ordered the cesar salad and although the ingredients seemed fresh it lacked flavor and dressing! Our main entrees however came excellent and tasted delicious. The flourless cake is a must try, however their cannoli is probably the worst I’ve ever had. It’s like they took straight Ricotta and put it into the shell. Avoid that and you’re set to go

Wish I could have given this place a better rating. Our server, Logan, was great. We had the eggplant tower, which was good but needed more mozzarella and the tomatoes, IMO, should be roasted. Entrees were the Veal and mushroom risotto, I enjoyed this very much. My hubs had the chicken Florentine. The chicken. Was very tough and the sauce didn’t have much flavor. For dessert we had the lemon Italian cake. Definitely by far, the best part of our meal!!!! It was scrumptious!!!!

One thing I will say is that in 2025, no restaurants should have carpet. Also IMO

Expensive and just meh. We went here on a whim for date night based off recommendation and unfortunately were quite disappointed. There was a funky smell in the restaurant and the menu was overwhelming. We started with the burrata and prosciutto, was just alright, 7/10. I had the chicken parm which was okay, 6/10-nothing special. My other half had the scallop encrustada risotto, “a big let down”, 6/10. Overall, the busser was the sweetest woman and our server was nice too.

Editing to add based off owner reply-

Thank you for your response. We came in with open wallets and were genuinely excited to treat ourselves to a high-end Italian meal based on recommendation. I mentioned “expensive” not as a complaint, but because higher prices naturally set higher expectations for quality and overall experience. While our server and busser were lovely, the food simply didn’t meet those expectations for us that evening. My review was an honest reflection of our experience. Thank you!

We had a FABULOUS first dinner this past January at Angelina’s! We decided to go here as it’s always consistently recommended in some of the York County food groups we follow. We haven’t had the chance to make it there during all our times in town until this visit and all I can say is wow! The food was incredible from the calamari to the veal and lobster-your-way specials to ending the evening with a slice of their perfectly sweet wedding cake! Which was totally fitting as we were there to celebrate our first wedding anniversary! We sat at the bar, Evan was very personable and gave us great recommendations and an inviting atmosphere. I also love a good dirty martini and the David’s Ultimate didn’t disappoint! The line of people out the door waiting to get a table as we walked out that night on an evening in January when town was dead should be an indicator to how popular and good this spot truly is! Thanks to the Angelina’s team for a great evening out helping us celebrate. We’ll be back!

Thursday we dined at Angelina’s. They have an extensive menu and an off-season Thursday special prix fix menu that includes many of their best entrees for $22.50! I had chicken parm and my wife had the eggplant. They were both delicious and enough that we needed to take some home. It also came with a choice of salad or soup to start. Morgan, our server made the night perfect. Definitely will be back to our favorite Maine Italian eatery!

We had a great experience at Angelica’s! Even though the restaurant was quite crowded, we were seated within 15 minutes of our reservation time. The staff was attentive, friendly, and very knowledgeable about both the menu and the wine list.
My wife and I shared a bottle of sparkling water, and each enjoyed a glass of Malbec. For appetizers, my wife had the Insalata Mediterraneo — fresh romaine, tomatoes, kalamata olives, red onions, and feta cheese tossed with a light balsamic vinaigrette — and I had the Insalata alla Caesar, which was crisp, flavorful, and perfectly dressed.

For our main courses, my wife chose the Pollo Funghi (chicken with shallots, sundried tomato, mushrooms, risotto, and Romano cheese), while I went with the Chicken Parmigiana. Both dishes were outstanding, with generous portions — enough that we brought home leftovers for lunch the next day!

We finished the evening by sharing a decadent chocolate flourless torte with a scoop of vanilla gelato — the perfect sweet ending to a memorable meal.

The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and valet parking was a great convenience. I would be remiss if I didn’t mention the house baked bread with garlic induced olive oil. Overall, Angelica’s delivered an exceptional dining experience, and we look forward to returning.

My fiancée and I came here on 01/01/2026, eager to get some good Italian food as we saw online that it has 4.4 stars. I guess we should have looked at the reviews more in-depth, as we were deeply disappointed with this place. We sat down and ordered a nice $52 bottle of wine, and it was delicious! We did not get any appetizers, as we usually do not. My fiancée got the lobster ravioli and said it was delicious! I got plain spaghetti with just butter (Dietary issues). I really am kicking myself that I didn’t take a picture of this when it came out. When I say it was the smallest portion of food I have ever seen in my life, I am not kidding! It was 8 bites total! Served in a huge bowl, and it did not even fill half of it! I ate the meal as my fiancée, and I do not enjoy making a fuss, but we couldn’t believe our eyes when the bill came. $23 for plain pasta with butter, and it was not even a full plate! We asked the waitress why the price was so high and if there was anything we could do about it, as this seemed unacceptable. We were not looking for a meal comp, but I said to my fiancée that if they brought the price down to $17, I thought that would have been fair. I understood that companies need to make money too! The waitress came back and said that the manager said, “That’s what the price is”. We were pretty shocked at how poor this customer service was, but then, when we looked at the reviews online again, we understood that we made the wrong choice in coming here. It’s unfortunate that we left a horrible tip due to the manager being stubborn over $6! This only hurts the waitress, and we understand that, but as customers we are not going to be walked all over either!

Judging by other reviews, the owner will leave a nasty reply to this and try to justify what they did. I honestly hope they do and prove our point in why people should stop dining here.

Large menu selection and the food was tasty yet not enough flavor to be impressive to want to order it again. Our reservation was at opening time when we finished the staff our meal we waited longer to get to go boxes than our dining duration. Disappointing a manager should have been checking the floor on the serving staff to see if tables needed attention. By reviewing table status it helps turn over the tables helping turn over tables making all involved more revenue.

My 86-year-old mom, my 20-year-old grand-daughter, and I thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The parking staff made it so easy for my mom to access the restaurant. We ate outside on a lovely summer evening. The food was absolutely delicious!
