They have the absolute best pizza in Charlotte! Great atmosphere, personable staff and management. Very welcoming environment. My husband and I will return.

We made a reservation for Valentine’s Day dinner. The host at the door was great. We were seated as soon as when we arrived. Starting with the food, the Bruschetta was very good. My fiance ordered Chicken Parm, which he enjoyed. I ordered Chicken with rigatoni pasta in a cream sauce, it was delicious. The cheesecake was also good although it was a smaller portion than we expected. Now for the service, it took some time for a server to come to the table and bring our drinks. The appetizer came pretty quickly. We never got the salad we ordered. Once the entrees came, we told them to cancel the salad. We asked for more bread but never received it. Our server never returned to the table to offer drink refills, check to see how things were, etc so we flagged down another server who took over and did a better job.
Overall it was a good experience and we would go back.

Wow!
OK, this part of Charlotte has a real Italian restaurant!
The food is unbelievable!
The house made rolls are so good.
Pastas are served “Al dente”…
And the sauces are done right, and stay hot till the last bite!
A special place to eat great Italian food!

A beautiful restaurant that offers some live music, karaoke or music bingo some select nights. I happened to learn abt the Frank Sinatra impersonator so I took my dad since we both love his music. The show was awesome and my dad truly enjoyed himself. Service was great but like most places short staffed, I was very tickled at the “robotic” waitress that would bring out the food to each table. This place is great for a girls night, date night or just solo. I had the Angela’s Special pizza and it was yummy. My dad got the salmon dish, and then got the salmon pizza to go. This place is definitely worth checking out.

Enjoyed my fried zucchini, lentil soup and chicken parm. The angel hair pasta and sauce were delicious. Chicken a bit over cooked but still tasty. Hubbys shrimp was overcooked. I would definitely return though if I’m in the area.

We love Angela’s! The food is always great, and the wait staff are so pleasant and welcoming. We enjoy the atmosphere, and love the special occasions, such as the Queen’s Feast, which we enjoyed last night, and the monthly live music Sinatra nights!

We decided on Italian food for dinner and I wanted Carabbas but, they were super busy and didn’t feel like waiting. So I had driven by this place several times and we decided to go. It was my fiance’ my mom my daughter and her twin cousins. We arrived and the place wasn’t busy it was nicely decorated and had a very comfy warm feeling to eat. They also had a guy who was doing acoustic music and he really had some great songs and the music was very entertaining. We got seated right away. And our server was very prompt in getting our drink orders and back out to us right away. We decided to get 3 appetizers 2 orders of
Mozz Sticks and 1 Calamari and that came out quick as well. And let me tell you that Calamari was one of the best I ever had in my life! It was lightly battered and fried to a golden brown crisp and the marinara dipping sauce and absolutely delicious! And of course the Mozz were good too but that calamari was the bomb. Then we ordered out entree’s and what can I say other than everybody’s meal was just amazing! It was cooked properly it was still hot and it was full of great flavor! I tried a little bit of everybodys food cause I like to try different things. I had the Lobster Ravioli my fiance had Chicken Parm my Mom had Veal Piccata my daughter the spaghetti and meatballs and same with her cousin and the other had basically garlic pizza and everybody thoroughly enjoyed their food. I was a little skeptical about how the food was gonna be but what can I say other than I was highly impressed! Everything from the ambiance to the awesome engaged server we had to the food everything was top notch! And some of the kids also got dessert can’t forget the Tiramisu was amazing along with the chocolate cake as well. This has to be one of the best dining experiences I have ever had and I just can’t wait to go back. I know Italian food really well and this place hit on all notes. We will definitely be back and I highly recommend this place to anybody for a nice casual meal and would be awesome for a date night well worth the money spent. Thank you for the great food and excellent hospitality and can’t wait to see you again.

I can’t click enough stars for this place. We arrived and were graciously greeted and seated Immediately. It’s a lovely restaurant, big enough for large parties yet allows for intimate dinning. Though “Angela’s” has been around for over a decade it gave a fresh/clean and new vibe.
Warm bread and oil was served while we started on our salads. Both of which were huge and very very fresh. The menu had some tempting offerings but we decided to go with the specials that day. We got seasonal pumpkin ravioli, stuffed with ricotta and spinach in a cream sauce. It was absolutely delicious and made right on site. I opted for the prime rib with shrimp and garlic sauce that came with mashed potatoes and grilled green beans. Though we couldn’t finish our meals we still ordered a desert to bring home. The owners (from Italy) have an expresso machine and the chef uses fresh expresso to make the Tiramisu. Our server Sid suggested it and it did not disappoint.

I’ve lived close to Angela’s for over 5 years. I’m always surprised it’s not busier. They have a great selection and everything I’ve had is excellent. The pizza is a weak spot if I’m being honest but it’s more of an Italian restaurant than a pizza joint if that makes sense. Get the veal Marsala, or the Chicken parm, or literally any pasta and you’ll be extremely pleased I promise.

Incredibly lovely service here. Mixed feelings about the environment as the curb appeal indicates a casual setting, but tables are set with cloth. We initially felt underdressed, other customers soon came dressed also in sweats, so we were comfortable. The only dish we tried was the Sicilian pizza, because I’ve wanted to try one for years, and was deeply disappointed, almost to tears when I tried this one. Don’t get me wrong, it wasn’t bad, and it’s pretty, but certainly not worth the price— I would have preferred a chain pizza delivered for a portion of the cost. My partner compared it to frozen Digorno pizza, which was unfortunately accurate. Also not nearly enough toppings to be called supreme and cost an extra $10. I was excited to cross Sicilian pizza off the foodie bucket list, but this didn’t make the cut!
