I very rarely give five stars across the board for everything. But this place was wonderful. The food was good and priced appropriately. The service staff bright and engaging. And the atmosphere was just fun. And I do like that. There were all types of people welcome here. That made everyone feel included. When we were there, they were young and old, gay and straight, and everybody in between all getting along, enjoying delicious coffee and ice cream.

Was down two doors for dinner amd decided to come try this for dessert!!I was so excited to try the Boston cream cupcake it was beautifully decorated but lacked flavor for me!!!The was only a small amount of Bavarian cream which would have been better had there been more!!I also ordered the blueberry crumb donut amd the seasonal pumpkin spice donut!! My Daughter ordered the fruity pebbles donut and she really liked it!!!Really cute shop ,they have all kinds of cute novelty items for sale…Just a little underwhelmed for me !!!

I am so grateful to have Angelfood as neighborhood spot. Their cold brew is my favorite in the area and they offer a discount if you bring your own *CLEAN* mug (I asked once and yes, people try to use dirty mugs). I also love the savory scones and the everything pretzel too!
Hot tip: The macaron ice cream sandwiches at Frio Frio in the back part of the store are the best ice cream sandwiches I’ve ever had in my life. I introduced some cyclist friends to them, and they now they stop to get one every time they bike by in the summer. Such a neighborhood treasure.

2025-07-05 – Tried the croissant donut and both myself and my MIL thought they were greasy. It’s like they were sitting in grease. Chocolate frosted raise was ok. Sausage roll was again greasy and way too much meat to pastry. Also, found their prices expensive. Won’t go back.

Welcoming staff, amazing donuts, fresh coffee. My children and I love walking to Angel Food Bakery and are able to see all of their baked goods on display. They also have a sitting area to watch them finish donuts and cupcakes. It’s a great environment to work on some things or hang out with friends and family.

The French cruller was very good. However, it wasn’t good/unique enough to justify paying $5 for one. Cub foods version is almost as good and less than half the price. The cupcakes I got had amazing frosting, but the cupcake itself was too dry for my preference. The person working was very nice and helpful. I don’t think I’ll be going back.
