Over the past few visits, I’ve noticed prices have gone up while the quality has gone down. The portions seem smaller, and the food just hasn’t been as fresh or flavorful as it used to be. For the price point, I expect better consistency. At this point, I’d recommend taking your money to Cedar River Seafood or exploring other options in the area.

I tried ANF for the first time yesterday and the experience was amazing. My food was hot and fresh! I got the Cajun seafood special. Kalayah was very nice and helpful, answering all questions with ease. She brung my order to me as I was sitting down waiting. It was nice, quiet an clean atmosphere. I will def visit this establishment again!

I came to this restaurant Wednesday night after not eating all day looking for a quick bite. I got a grilled gyro meal with a peach mango bottled drink. The gyro was not enjoyable at all i didn’t even finish it. The next morning i’m extremely nauseous, vomiting, diarrhea and dehydrated. I called the restaurant today , Friday , to let the manager know of the situation and that while i don’t have my receipt i have the charged card with the date and time that he can look up. He says he can’t do anything without the receipt except give me more food. Proof of purchase such as my card information date and time is more than enough to provide some type of compensation especially when we aren’t living in the 1700s. I didn’t call immediately hoping for a refund, as this have never happened to me before, but to see what the business could do to rectify this. I believe anyone in their right mind wouldn’t eat where they’ve gotten food poisoning. The manager , name was something with an N, was extremely nonchalant and careless over the matter and i felt he took this as a whatever matter. Extremely upset that i have to go through this sickness especially at the hands of such a careless business. I will not be eating here again, I will be reporting to the health dept, and i highly suggest you all find another place to spend your money with higher quality service.

Small and almost cozy, clean with lots of natural light. Most of the times I’ve been inside it is not packed. The real gem of this restaurant is the food. This is likely the most authentic gyro and hummus I’ve found in Gainesville. The ingredients are FRESH and have a FLAVOR that comes from the food being made custom as you order it. The items that are supposed to be crisp are crisp, and the items that are supposed to be soft are soft, all together they make up for the Perfect Bite”.

First time at this restaurant and I ordered the gyro with black beans and rice as my side and it was amazing. My hubby ordered the oyster po boy with French fries and he loved his food. We will definitely be back.

The food was maybe better than it could be expected to be, for a sort of fast casual southern seafood place. And yeah, that’s what it is, despite the name — far more fried fish and Cajun food than Greek-inspired.
I had the oyster po boy, which was risky since the last time I had one of those it was at a restaurant in the French Quarter in New Orleans. Was this as good as that one? Well, no, of course not. But was it tasty and well cooked? Absolutely. Plenty of nicely fried oysters, decent remoulade sauce. Definitely worth getting again, especially for the price.
The French fries were particularly good, super crispy and tasty, not overly salty.
They also have a little dessert case with cheesecake and similar things by the slice.
The only real downside is that there’s NO ambiance at all, even by fast food standards.
I’ll definitely be back.

It’s closing time and yet Kay was so high energy and made my girlfriend and I an outstanding mango milkshake. Like insanely good. Surprisingly cheerful/warm/authentic service for a drive thru at closing time (Past midnight).

The Oyster Po Boy was really good. I’ve only seen shrimp ones before. There was plenty of meat. The sauce has good spiciness to it.
The Fried Okra had good flavor breading and was crunchy.
The Cajun Fries were good but I had to get some extra seasoning.
The staff was very friendly. There was plenty of seating.
