Best fish and chips! Perfect deep fried crust that has that perfect crunch as you bite and enjoy the hot moist flakey deliciousness that waits inside. No line and just enough serve time to discuss where to next. Who has time for lines, when you could have a quick lunch and check out the beach with the satisfaction of an exquisite digestive experience. My tour guides had the crab sandwich and loved it.

Our group had chowder, crab sandwich, fish and chips and fish tacos. The chowder Wes good, not great. Crab sandwich was really good, as was the fish and chips. Feedback on the fish tacos was that they were good but needed more fish.

Unbelievably fresh crab, from sea to pot to plate. I’m very picky about my seafood, and this is possibly the freshest crab I’ve ever had! Market price for a cooked crab is very reasonable, more affordable than a sandwich down the road. I also love that it’s a family business with friendly staff happy to chat about the industry. We were happy to support generations of local fishermen!

Went to Spud Point but as usual it was packed, I wanted a crab sandwich but decided that I didn’t want to wait in that long line, went to leave and saw Anello’s. Decided to give them a try, place was empty. Ordered the crab sandwich ($16). When it came out it was on sourdough bread with tomato slices and lettuce and what I would say was a small serving of crab, not much. The sandwich was good but would have been better if it had more crab.

Great spot to stop in for fresh and delicious seafood. The crab sandwich may seem small, but it has no other fillers. Some places add bread, or fake crab, but this crab sandwich is pure crab and tastes delicious. Very friendly service in a peaceful setting.
