I order breakfast every morning ima start with what I like!!
I love the mangu with salami I recommend this dish as a great start of your day !!
I like the rotisserie chicken it’s usually fresh soft and tasty

What I don’t like is the service sometimes isn’t the best, I went in this morning and ordered scrambled eggs with home fries and extra crispy bacon.
the place was packed so I guess they decided to rush my food because the egg were not fully cooked the bacon was not crispy at all and the home fries were more cold than hot !!
it really got me pissed !
They are usually good when it’s not packed but when it’s packed the atmosphere is different they don’t smile as often and it seems like the pressure gets to them

The people that work there are okay they don’t smile often I guess it’s their work environment being fast paced

I’m not going to kid you, I had some of the best bites of food I’ve ever had here at Andy’s and it was such a simple dish. I know I sound nuts and maybe it was the circumstances or my mood, but bites of their cheese omelet on buttered toast were pure ambrosia. I know? Crazy right? But it was. I even took a picture of one of the bites.

Overall my meal was really good. Service was quick and nice. Atmosphere was diner perfect.

Now, I’m not saying that if you go here that you’ll get the slice of heaven that I did but I am willing to bet that you’ll get one fine meal.

I went and ordered two plates of rice & beans and baked chicken (take out). It came out to $28.25. For lunch is to expensive for something that’s average. Then the lady asked if I want Garlic bread shouldn’t that be included? The place is always empty no more than three or four customers. I went three times and everytime it’s a different price. My co – worker went the next day it was $8.00 for the same plate of one piece of chicken rice & beans horrible a $20 difference!
I won’t go back again so not worth it. $28 for lunch what about dinner or Breakfast? Or Better yet, how much more for steak, ribs, fish? I feel cheated!

I asked for a Greek omelet while pointing at it on the menu. I asked for bacon, too. I got grits with bacon. A miscommunication. That’s fine.
But when I clarified Greek omelet, the woman who took my order told another worker that I asked for grits. She did not know I spoke Spanish. Instead of arguing, I said I would take the grits too.

I got egg with tomatoes over bacon and grits. It was $16. Not worth it. The eggs were edible, but not what I wanted.

This place was a great microcosm of the Dominican diaspora in NYC. Fast pace, friendly, loud and amazing food.

Great prices for their lunch specials. Under 12 dollar for sancocho, arroz and avocado in late 2023! Sign me up!

The staff was super friendly too! Great spot overall.

The Auto shop I work for moved from Upper East side to 3rd Ave in the Bronx and I recently discovered this spot after tired of eating burgers and pizza and most restaurants over the bridge telling me they don’t deliver that far. Well the customer service is exceptional and the food deliciously good. I’m from the Caribbean so I love well seasoned food. This is my now go to spot for lunch. Oh and the delivery guy walked over the bridge to bring my food, I gave him a nice tip. I’m so thankful for Andy’s and their staff for feeding me. If you haven’t tried these guys before, I highly recommend that you do. Your belly would thank you.

Its not located in a ideal place yet, the food and servi e was up to par. I enjoyed roast pork red rice, red beans and a wonderful sea food salad. My God that night I dreamt of that meal.

Let me start with this place and service is A1 but ….with that being said it’s still in the hood and my choice of salmon wasn’t the best, but I feel like the breakfast is great so I’ll be back to try it but as far as the lunch… the rice was EXTREMELY HARD ( no I didn’t ask for con con and it was 11.a.m ) the beans were very bland, the salmon under cooked and BLAND, Maduros clearly cooked in oil from the week before and the avocado was cut way before its time.. it was so hard. But again I will be back to try the breakfast, hopefully they don’t disappoint

The people here move like snakes when they think you don’t understand Spanish they were a little too concerned with my EBT balance as if they were planning on stealing it they seemed upset I didn’t have much left after paying for my food I changed my pin immediately be careful swiping your card here.
