We were in Portland for a day and had a local recommend Andy’s. It did not disappoint. The lobster roll was hands down the best roll I’ve ever had and my husband said the fish and chips were the best he has ever had. This coming from 2 seafood lovers! Highly recommend! Food was fantastic, service was great and the price was reasonable for what we got! If we ever find ourselves in Portland again we make sure to stop in again!

We stopped by Andy’s Old Port Pub on our way back home from a ski trip, and honestly… best decision we made all day. The place has that simple, no-frills vibe but somehow still feels super cozy and welcoming, exactly what you want after a long day in the cold. There was live music playing, which made the whole atmosphere even better without being loud or overwhelming. The staff was incredibly warm and friendly, the kind of service that makes you feel like a regular even if it’s your first time there. Food was so so good. The clam chowder tasted truly homemade and the lobster roll was fresh, generous, and absolutely delicious. It felt like one of those local spots that locals actually love, not a tourist trap. Perfect stop to unwind, eat well, and reset before heading home. If you’re anywhere near Old Port, this place is 100% worth it, we’ll definitely be back.

Andy’s Old Port Pub is a gem that’s been serving the local community for almost 20 years, and it’s easy to see why it’s a favorite. With an impressive selection of local beers on draft, along with a full bar, there’s always something to please every palate. The menu is expansive, offering everything you could crave, from hearty meals to lighter bites. And if you’re gluten-free, you’re in luck—there are delicious options like pizza and sandwiches that cater to your needs without compromising on taste.

The atmosphere is lively, with great music playing on the radio and live performances adding to the charm, especially in the evenings. A unique bonus is the free pool offered during weekdays, which adds a fun, laid-back vibe perfect for spending time with friends or making new ones.

Whether you’re stopping by for a casual drink or hanging out for the evening, Andy’s Old Port Pub is the kind of place where you can relax and enjoy good food, drinks, and entertainment. It’s a true staple of the community, and it’s clear why it’s been around for so long. Highly recommended!

I visited here from NY. I ordered the American breakfast and it was delicious! The bacon was quality, eggs fresh and plump, fingerling potatoes were cooked to perfection- crispy edges and creamy inside. I ordered a side of sausages to up my protein intake for $5. Not bad! Prices are great, great, great!

I’m a margarita aficionado, but their margarita was not strong or very tasty, seems like they use pre-made mix (who orders margaritas at a pub?! I guess!) I had to order a shot on the side. However, they do have a variety of craft beers for the beers drinkers. Lots of seating area, bartender, Steve, was friendly and attentive. Seems like it gets very busy

Enjoyed live music several evenings. Friendly staff and patrons – even the musicians chatted with us during their break. Food is tasty and reasonably priced.

We got in (from our hotel) around 9 on a Thursday night on our mini-staycation. Very pubby atmosphere. A duet was playing up front and groups of people were laughing and talking. Our server, Dalton, took care of us and the owner checked in around the room. Music was good and the fish tacos hit the spot. Food only got 4 stars but we didn’t go in expecting 5 star (?) pub fare. We had a good time and Andy’s checked all the boxes.

Cool spot to hang out. With the front door off the street and up some stairs makes getting to Andy’s feel like a speakeasy. Food was outstanding. I actually ate here on three separate times. Lobster roll had a generous amount of lobster. The clam Chowder was everything you expect. Wings are very good. The Philly Cheesesteak was great as well. Service was good. On bartender had attitude but she was not putting up anyone’s foolishness. One night had a band. Good hang out spot. I go back.
