Every dish ordered was so delicious. It is hard for me to find a Chinese restaurant that meets my expectations as I grew up in a hong kongnese style of cooking house hold. Most of the decent authentic Chinese restaurants are located in Sacramento off of the Freeport blvd area. I would say that this is a very good authentic Chinese restaurant being in Folsom.

Seats were not cramped, lots of room inbetween each table and I was very impressed by that. Most Chinese restaurants have cramped seating,

Walnut shrimp- walnuts were fresh and crunchy, not stale tasting, walnut. Shrimps were crunchy and sauces perfectly. The sauce was just the right sweetness.

Pork and chive dumplings 10 pcs- they were so juicy! Perfect portioning between the chives and the pork. Flavor was on point. You must dip it into the chili oil sauce mixed with soy sauce.

Beef chow, fun dry style- the beef was so tender, and there was the perfect amount of green onions. They actually add red onions into it too. You must ask for the chili oil to put it into it to give it a little bit of kick.

This will definitely be a go to Chinese restaurant in Folsom from now on.

We love Andy’s. My wife, 2 daughters (one is 2, the other 7 months), and I have been going to Andy’s at least one Friday a month for the last year. Whenever we pick up our daughter from preschool on Friday, she immediately starts saying “fried rice,” and begging to go there. We always order the soup dumplings, some type of fried rice, and a different meat entree each time. The soup dumplings are handmade in house each day and are amazing! The fried rice is fantastic, each type unique and tastes spectacular. The meat is always chopped roughly and you can tell it is cooked fresh daily. I love the Mongolian beef, but the kung pao chicken and beef with green beans are also awesome. We will keep trying a new entree each time we go as they are so consistently good! Each plate is served family style; when you order an entree it is meant to serve 4 adults so keep that in mind. I can’t recommend this place enough. Our only worry is that it will get too popular and will make it difficult for us to find a table!

Our first time at Andy’s Kitchen. We ordered chicken curry steamed buns, salt and pepper fried fish and pan fried seafood noodles. All three were excellent. The portion size is big. Service was quick, food was piping hot and fresh. Ambience was that of a fast food place, small seating area with maybe 10 tables, 4 seaters. Plenty of Parking space, located at Century theatre complex. Definitely coming back to try more. Heard their garlic noodles are popular.

I had planned to go to taco express and then I seen Andy’s Kitchen. As an introvert I stayed in the car and ordered the waited to go inside. The atmosphere was so peaceful I actually stayed and ate my meal INSIDE THE RESTAURANT. The gentleman without question brought me a cup of ICED water. I don’t think it gets any better than that. The pleasant sounds of the music and the staff talking and laughing in the background made for a very peaceful lovely experience. I am happy I chose to go outside the box and try something new.

This is probably the best Chinese food I’ve ever had! Just tried it for the first time today and it will be my go to from now on!

I got the general tso chicken with half/ half chow mein and fried rice and an egg roll. Can’t wait to try everything else! Looking forward to trying the steamed buns 🙂

The food is some of the best we have had in the Folsom/ Fair Oaks area. The place is not very big but there was no wait when we went. The service is great and everything came out fresh and hot. This is quickly becoming a regular place for my family to visit.

Came here for a late lunch on a Friday afternoon around
2:30. Oh my God the food here is amazing! I got the lunch special salt and pepper fish with chow mein. This was the best lunch special l’ve had in quite some time. The fish was cooked perfectly and season well with just enough spiciness to give it the kick it needs. The fish was not greasy at all. A good amount of fish and then the chow mein was excellent! I haven’t had a good chow mein in a while either. Usually it’s overly salty or overly greasy with no flavor. Andy’s kitchen knocked it out of the park. The first bite of the chow mein I was sent to heaven! If I’m ever in the area I will definitely be back. If you are, I suggest you try it out as well!

We went for late lunch and was seated right away. We ordered spicy wonton appetizer, har gaw, shrimp crispy noodle, and mongolian beef with fried rice (lunch menu). The portion was good. The food tasted good (nothing spectacular)

– Spicy wonton: the wonton skin was soft & the pork filling was flavorful. But I wish they put more meat inside. The chili was spicy and good.
– Har gaw: good. A bit dry but lots of filling inside
– Shrimp crispy noodle: the noodle was a bit burnt on the edges but the rest was crispy. The sauce was good & lots of shrimp pieces
– Mongolian beef with fried rice: it was ok. The beef was tender & flavorful. The fried rice was nice.

Overall, a good Chinese restaurant. The portion is good. Would come back to try more items.
