perfect spot for a sweet treat. Service was fast and the staff were friendly

I tried the Triple Chocolate—small in size but trust me it wasn’t easy to finish, fully loaded with chocolate

Well, this is pretty sad. The photos are untouched, no bite or stirring, just a half-full cup of ice cream at $8.

I want to give the benefit of the doubt, that this is just business from Memorial Day weekend rush. I’m guessing y’all were overwhelmed.

If this was not the product of a holiday weekend rush, if this is how a BYO hot fudge sundae with cookie dough and butterfinger is supposed to look? Kindly let me know, and I’ll adjust the rating down to one star.

If this was a mistake, product that shouldn’t have gone out the window – let me know and I’ll delete this review and post photos of better Andy’s ice cream.

Just left Andy’s 20 minutes ago. A
Ordered at the drive thru, 2 concrete. I ordered mine with oreo and peanut butter cups. The young man asked specifically if I wanted pieces or cups. I told him cups, cause I do not like reeses pieces in my ice cream. He also asked if we wanted it cupped and bagged. Told him bagged because I was gonna eat it at home. Well, you can see what I got. Not happy!

What in the hell is wrong with Andy’s in St Louis? I have now been twice and both times were horrible. I fell in love with this chain in Springfield, Missouri and have realized that it is horrible everywhere else but Springfield, Missouri.
I ordered mint Oreo! Check out the picture. Not so minty, eyyyy? It was basically a vanilla ice cream with random hints of mint every few bites. It was very disappointing!
Why didn’t I just take it back to the store and ask them to make it better? Oh… That’s because the line and the service was horrible. I waited about a half hour in the drive-thru lane to order my ice cream. I wasn’t able to get out either because there was other cars behind me. You couldn’t order until you got to the window. That means that you had to wait for the car to get to the window, make their order, have their order made, pay for their order, and then drive away. It took a ridiculous amount of time to get your ice cream!
One last thing, you pay a lot of money for premium ice cream. It’s not cheap! But we pay it because we expect excellence. Look at the size of my ice cream! They couldn’t even feel it to the top. I was overall very disappointed with my experience at this Andy’s location. Something needs to change for this to get up to a standard that I’m used to at this wonderful ice cream chain. Stores like this are tainting the brand!

I really like going to this location because it’s not too crowded even in the summer months and pretty quiet. It’s located nearby Schnucks and many restaurants make it a perfect spot for sweet treats after dinner or grocery shopping. Service has always been nice and fast. Andy’s custard is just so so good and super creamy. I used to buy their vanilla and chocolate gallons and added my own toppings during Covid times, but I have been going here more often last year. I usually just order the vanilla concrete with nutty toppings or the butter pecan concrete. Price is decent and I personally think it tastes better than Ted Drewes.

This is the second time I’ve come to this Andy’s and I got the same thing each time the text 2 step and this time I literally have such a big gap at the top of my cup, I also asked for extra hot fudge both times and received less than what I would get at any other location? It doesn’t add up.

Not sure what some of these reviews are about, but my order at Andy’s is always right. These people clearly don’t know what they’re talking about. The custard is great and the service has always been solid for me.

That being said, the Lindenwood location is a whole different story — absolutely horrible compared to the others. Stick to the other Andy’s spots like this one and you’ll be just fine.

I visited from Seattle and I heard that frozen custard is a well known food in St. Louis. I heard of Ted Drewes and haven’t tried that yet, but Andy’s is very good and I would highly recommend. Their custards remind me of Dairy Queen Blizzards. I got the key lime pie flavor and it was amazing. You can definitely taste the key lime pie. If I come to St Louis again, I will definitely get some frozen custard again and this will be one of my top choices to visit.

Ice cream is good… it’s ice cream. Arrived around 6 pm. Service was slow, seems staff was more focused on the drive thru than window and window had customers waiting well before. Staff kind of stared at us as if the window was not their job, until the window staff came back (poor teamwork)…very unwelcoming. Ordered 1 cone and customer after us with 4 items, received their order first. Love Andy’s, but this was a bad customer experience.
