After driving past several times on our way to and from Blount Memorial Hospital to visit my father, we finally decided to give Andy’s a try. At first glance, the place looked well-organized and clean.
However, our drive-thru experience was very different. There were three of us in our party, and we ordered the Ozark Turtle Sundae, the Pecan Split, and a peanut butter pint. The lady taking our order said, “I’m making it as cookie dough instead of peanut butter—just let them know at the window. It’s not showing up on my iPad, but I know they just made a fresh batch, so we have it.”
Unfortunately, when we got to the window, that wasn’t true. As first-time customers, we were very disappointed—especially since my boyfriend had been looking forward to the peanut butter, but ended up with the cookie dough flavor instead. With too many cars behind us, other orders already in hand, and our frozen custard was starting to melt from the delay, he just settled for the cookie dough rather than waiting for them to fix it.
Not a great first-time experience.

So disappointed with this location. I fell in love with Andy’s at the Sevierville location and was so excited to get one in Maryville. I’ve been about a dozen times now (I am hopeful lol) and every time something is wrong with the quality. It usually has to do with the toppings, like something is completely left out, or there are hardly any toppings at all. Tonight I got the triple chocolate concrete and literally counted 6 pieces of cookie dough. It was basically just chocolate custard. So disappointing for the price. The reason I love Andys so much more than anywhere else is because of all the add-ins/toppings. But I have not seen them at this location.

Service is fast and accuate. I do love the fact you can get different sizes compared to Bruster’s Ice Cream which is only one size. The smallest ice cream sundae is perfect size. No need for the larger one. At Bruster’s Ice Cream in Maryville the Sunday is way too large and I end up throwing half of it out. So this is my new go to place if I’m in the mood for an ice cream sundae. Prices are comparable for an ice cream.

I ordered two pints of ice cream in different flavors and drove home, only to realize one pint was incorrectly labeled. The label said cookie butter crunch, but the ice cream inside was actually chocolate cookie dough. I drove all the way back to the store to let them know about the mistake. At first, they didn’t believe me until I showed them the pint. While they did acknowledge the error, when I asked if I could get a small kids scoop with sprinkles, they attempted to charge me for it—even though I had gone out of my way to return and correct their labeling mistake. Overall, a disappointing customer service experience.

I’m so happy that this place opened up so close to our home! The custards are so yummy! I had the apple pie sundae and oh my goodness, it was so tasty! They even gave us a cute mini cone as a pup cup for our dogs. They ate the whole thing. Everyone is super nice here too!

I’ve been a huge Andy’s fan for years. We always go to the one in Conway, AR when we visit family. I was so excited when they opened here. Our experiences are so much different. They are finally getting more organized, and the quality is getting better, but I just ordered Jitterbug Concrete today, and there’s maybe a tablespoon of ingredients in a medium. Come on! Seriously? I’m paying $7, and I want some ingredients. That’s the whole point of a concrete, it’s not a shake. I can get a Blizzard with more ingredients. If you’re going to compete with other businesses in town, you’ll want to step it up a notch. Thanks for listening.

Thought I would treat my mom for custard today. Custard was awesome but the customer service was horrible and rude. First time here and there was no hello how can I help you. The lady acted like I was putting her out by ordering something and there were no other customers. They didn’t even get the order correct. We won’t be back. Good luck Andy’s with service like that you won’t have many returning customers.

Tried Andy’s today and it really was a treat. I’ve never had frozen custard before, so I was surprised by its taste and consistency. I had the Peach Dream Concrete, and it was delicious (especially on a hot day like today). The custard was so smooth and creamy.
You might have a wait at the drive -thru as it can take time to prepare orders. But I do think it’s worth it
