We got the James Brownie Funky Jackhammer and the Stolen Brownie Sundae. The jackhammer had A LOT going on with it but was very good and the sundae was very good.
the price actually solid, paid $17 which wasn’t terrible for the size. Definitely smaller sizes to be had lowering the price.
Overall, great experience with delicious ice cream. I love the area very much as the drive through but also a walk up where you can sit down. Definitely recommend checking this place out.
From the moment you pull up, the storefront grabs your attention with its fun, amusement park-style vibe. It’s colorful, cheerful, and incredibly welcoming—perfect for families or anyone looking to cool off with a quality treat.
Big shoutout to Owen Webb, the manager, who was handling a very large crowd with professionalism and ease. Despite the volume, Owen was friendly, knowledgeable, and made sure every customer was taken care of with a smile. He truly sets the tone for a great experience.
Now the custard—unreal. I tried a sundae with pecans, and wow… they were fresh, buttery, and flavorful. I was surprised to learn they’re flown in from Chicago, which explains the quality. That extra effort makes a real difference in every bite.
The restrooms and surrounding grounds were spotless, which is something I always appreciate when visiting a busy spot like this. Cleanliness, great service, and premium ingredients? That’s a win all around.
I highly recommend Andy’s Frozen Custard to anyone in the area or passing through—this is a top-tier cool treat stop that’s perfect for the whole family!
From your number one customer: 10 stars!!! <3
Now for the custard. I ordered the Bootdaddy, which is front and center on the menu. It comes with Oreo crumbles, chocolate drizzle, and their signature vanilla custard. First bite? Good. After that, it started tasting like birthday cake frosting that overstayed its welcome. The sweetness builds fast, and not in a good way.
It was a mild day, about 79 or 80 degrees. Not blazing hot, which made it a good chance to sit outside. Still, the custard melted almost immediately. By the time we parked and walked up, it was already turning into soup. And for context, we keep our car at 65 to 67 degrees. That’s not a great sign for something meant to hold its form.
There are benches along the wall, but no tables. It feels like the setup was designed more for takeout or drive-thru than for folks who actually want to enjoy their treat on-site. For a place that’ll likely see heavy traffic during warm weather, the lack of outdoor seating with tables is a design miss.
This is a first impression, and I’ll probably give it another shot with different menu items. But based on this visit, it looks better than it performs. Plenty of potential, but not quite there yet.
We’ve visited several times since they opened. Service is always very fast and we’ve never had a wrong order. We usually go thru the drive thru with our dog so she can get a puppy cone 🙂
