Really hate leaving 1 star reviews but after getting home with our order today I regret even going there in the first place. The guy running the drive thru was obviously new, so I understand mistakes happen when you’re learning but it was just one after another and now I’m left with a huge mess in my brand new car. I order at the window & I couldn’t remember the name of one of the ones we wanted (since there’s no menu at the window you order at). So I tell him it was whatever the chocolate concrete one was on the menu & he had no clue what I was talking about. I guessed about 5 different names and finally got to “triple chocolate” and he finally found it to ring it up. He didn’t asked me about my rewards number so I was trying to pull it up and didn’t really know how. So I start giving him the long “card number” and it wasn’t until someone else came up behind him as he’s entering those numbers and tells him that’s not the correct code and had to walk me through how to do it. This whole time before I even pay, one of the concretes had already been made and was starting to melt. He sticks a spoon in it and gives it to me.. in my car as if I’m suppose to eat it while driving? With it still in my hand he hands me the second cup. Before I even get the third cup I have to stop him and tell him I need a tray and lids. He hands them to me with the 3rd cup and I’m trying to put them all in the tray and start to drive off… then I realize the lid was a flat lid and not the dome shaped one and wouldn’t fit any of the cups I had because they were all overflowing. Then I’m wondering how I’m suppose to put lids on when they all have spoons in them? I had to pull off to a parking spot and try to make sense of it all and start cleaning up the melted ice cream but I had my kids in the car and didn’t want to have to wait in the line again just to ask for napkins and the proper lids, so I regretfully decide to just drive home and was left with puddles on ice cream everywhere. I ended up throwing one away it was just such a mess. They really need to properly train their employees if they’re going to have them run a drive thru all by themselves.

Delicious but very pricey. The only negative comment I have is the price is never the same. The quality is top notch though. Made fresh many times a day…but definitely pricey. So much better than Ice cream.

Had a very poor experience here this evening, Saturday, November 29, 2025 at roughly 5:30pm. To begin, they had part of the parking lot blocked off, so when you entered from the roadway you had to loop around the entire restaurant, which caused a fender bender for two other patrons.

Once I was in the drive-thru it took approximately 30 minutes to even approach the order window although there were only approximately 5 cars ahead of me. What’s more, you’re basically trapped in the drive-thru once you enter so you can’t even leave if you want until you get to a certain point due to barriers. Once a couple of cars were past these barriers they pulled out of line (great for business!) because the wait was incredibly and unnecessarily long.

As I approached the window, having waited already for 30 minutes, the girl at the window didn’t even greet me. She was fooling around and laughing with her coworkers and not even addressing patrons who had at that point been waiting THIRTY MINUTES! She finally asked what I would like and then I paid. She gave me an incorrect receipt which was for almost triple what my order was. I asked for my receipt because I wanted to make sure I didn’t get incorrectly charged. She, along with the other two workers could not produce my receipt. They said the system wouldn’t print it. I work in hospitality and you should always be able to receive a receipt without question. At that point I was already there for a half an hour, so I was over the terrible customer service experience and just wanted to leave.

I received my apple pie sundae which had basically some pie and a golf ball size of ice cream on it? I was under the impression that a sundae is primarily ice cream with toppings but this was just such a sad excuse for a sundae, especially considering the cost.

This was truly a terrible experience from beginning to end. I frequent the Andy’s in Concord now and again and it’s usually a really decent experience. If they are backed up in the drive thru they will send a worker out to take orders and the orders I’ve received have always been pretty good. This was such a bad experience from the outrageous wait, to the terrible customer service, to the lackluster product. I would advise all people not to spend any time or money at the Andy’s in Waxhaw.

Really nice place, really busy. They need to add tables for people to sit. They had a few benches, but people with their families had to stand up. But the ice cream was amazing!

The biscoff cookie butter concrete is the greatest thing I’ve ever tasted please keep it forever it’s so good. I just finished the pint I got the other day and I already want like 6 more. Best flavor. Also the employees have been very kind both times I’ve been here 🙂

Ordered 20 gift cards. On a Sunday morning drive in guy was extremely rude and slow. Been here so many times every time I leave the drive in window there is an issue with the experience. Either pricing changes for the same ice cream or they mess up the order or they are short staffed. Kids love it so we come here. Never again!!

Girl in red sweatshirt, braid, brunette, pink hat, and eyeliner under her eyes was rude. I gave her a compliment and she didn’t respond and gave me a dirty look. When i got my ice cream the cup was half full. disappointed.

Wow, 10 cars in drivethru and 26 people outside and one girl working both windows and making orders when we got here. Eventually one guy showed up to help. Friday afternoon and 80° and no help? I would be surprised if you guys make it. This zip code has other choices and waiting and working one girl to death isn’t sustainable. BTW, the girl behind the counter was delightful and working with a great attitude. Not her fault. Where was the owner on a day like this?
