Last few times I’ve been here, my seafood has been overcooked and burgers have been horrible. But I went in today and got a burger and some fish and they were so much better than they used to be, my fish was perfectly cooked and my burger resembled a real burger with fresh ingredients. I believe there were new staff members on, maybe new owners?? looks cleaner as well

Chips, chiko roll, Pluto pup and potato scallops were our order. All were overcooked, dry and almost inedible. I will definitely not return to this shop, very disappointing. It used to be to be good.

This was a disappointing experience. When I was ordering, the shop assistant told me that they don’t have any change for cash and that I had to use eftpos. So, I decided to go somewhere else – but then, suddenly, she tells me that she DOES have change and that she will give me change. Because I was in a hurry, I went with it and continued my order using cash. I wonder if they prefer card because they get a surcharge? Still, it’s not very fair dinkum to lie to your customers. The food wasn’t great either. I was hoping for that classic fish and chip flavour, but the chips weren’t very good.

Got $10 worth of chips and 4 scollops, they added in extras and the amount of chips was perfect with added chicken salt. Clean environment, everything was great

Absolute Dog’s Breakfast . What was once the Best Fish & Chips in town is now nothing short of Deplorable .. Large Chips ( $9 ) asked for Chicken Salt — still looking for any resemblance , wasn’t even 2 hand fulls … Burger asked for Tom.Sauce got Pickles on it . Has Management changed? $1.40 for a Potato scallop the size of a dorito?! Shrink-flation? The fish burger was very average, with some weird sauce. Seriously, this place used to make amazing crispy chips, battered scallops, and I’m assuming Pluto pups etc, but wow… disappointing… time for a change 🙁

Visited this place a few years ago. Always been missing their fish and chips. It was operated by Macedonians. Went back recently and found that it is now operated by Chinese. Seems to be very famous among the locals. Food is still fine but dont feel the same as last time 🙂

What a rip off! $7 of chips and didn’t feed two people. I asked for lots of chicken salt and was offered to purchase the tiniest of containers if I wanted extra. The chips were not salted and were soggy and unpleasant. The fish was thin and dry and stacked on top of the chips which made them soggy. No lemon.
This place was once our fave many years ago, but not any more. We won’t be back!!
