Andy D’s on Pensacola Bay is truly one of the best restaurants — not just in Pensacola, but in the entire Southeast. Chef Estes has done an incredible job curating unique, delicious, locally inspired dishes that consistently exceed expectations.
The staff reflects the same high standard, offering impeccable service that perfectly complements the quality of the food. The owners have clearly poured their hearts into creating a space that feels welcoming, classy, professional, and comfortable, while still standing out as a truly special destination — especially for catching a beautiful sunset on the bay.
I highly recommend the redfish and the gouda grits — the flavor is out of this world! This is a must-try spot, and a perfect place to bring the whole family. Highly recommended!

We had an absolutely wonderful meal! Chef Estes did an amazing job. Everything tasted fresh and so full of flavor. My personal favorites were the fried green tomatoes and the tuna poke. Chef also had a redfish special and it was to die for! We definitely plan on coming back. The restaurant had an inviting atmosphere with a beautiful view of the bay. I hope to take advantage of the outdoor seating on my next visit. Be sure to give this place a try!

Definitely worth the visit! I highly recommend ordering the succotash side and adding crab. I was fortunate to try it thanks to the chef’s recommendation and while everything we ate was excellent, that dish was one of the most unique and memorable flavors I’ve had and is a stand out taste you can’t get at anywhere else in the area. The Bang Bang Shrimp was also a standout favorite of mine and the group I went with.
It’s also locally owned, which is always a bonus if you’re looking to support small businesses in the community. I look forward to seeing how this location develops.

What a great place and experience! Staff and service was exceptional including the amazing water view! 10/10 would recommend for any occasion including fine dining or even just drinks on the patio. Even met the owner, he is very personable and strives to ensure everything is top notch! We will be back!

Dinner on a Friday. Not busy at all.
The chef has created a good-sounding menu, but the execution is a bit lacking.
The owner has done a great job with a beach bar and a roadhouse. Not quite there on the finer dining.
We ordered multiple appetizers and the waiter did not stagger. Our entrees came out moments after our apps. It was not busy, so I don’t think it was to generate quick table turnover. It was just inexperience in finer dining.
The cocktails were good. Unfortunately our red wine was chilled.
Overall, this feels like a restaurant trying to be something that it isn’t ready to be.
I say enjoy the beach and roadhouse locations, but my prediction is that this location will be changing venues again soon.
Honestly, unless you can’t get a reservation at other places, I would avoid here. The prices don’t match the quality.

Had an early dinner at 4:30 today, Friday the 13th. Shrimp and grits were absolutely amazing. Creamy cheesy grits and shrimp was cooked to perfection with just the right amount of spice. My husband enjoyed the pan seared grouper entrée. He said his mashed potatoes were the creamiest he’s ever had. And the grouper was perfectly cooked. The inside is classy yet comfortable. The atmosphere makes you feel like you wanna dress up, but you don’t have to. And that view outside their many many windows is just breathtaking. Our server Jesse was wonderful. Professional and made us feel so welcomed. We got the meet the manager, Terrell. What a wonderful and sweet human being. I would work for him in a heartbeat. We will definitely be back.
