Great spot right on the beach! It’s a solid choice if you’re looking for a good breakfast with a view.
Food: 7/10
The food is decent, though it could definitely use a bit more flavor to really stand out.
Service: 10/10
Excellent service—top-notch and very attentive.
The Verdict: The portions here are HUGE. You definitely get your money’s worth and won’t leave hungry!
The mahi mahi was sooo good—fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. It quickly became the highlight of our trip. Every bite was delightful, and it’s honestly some of the best seafood I’ve had on the Gulf Coast. Sunshine’s service paired with a great dish made for one of the best meals. And ending with a slice of key lime pie was the cherry on top of the experience.
The atmosphere at Andy D’s is fun and laid-back, with a beachy vibe that perfectly matches Navarre Beach. Whether you’re grabbing lunch after a day in the sun or enjoying dinner with a view, it’s a great spot to take a break and really savor your food. I left wishing I lived closer because I’d absolutely eat here every day if I could. If you’re in the area and craving excellent seafood and great service, this place should be on your list!
The pancakes alone deserve their own fan club. Hot, thick, and perfectly cakey. Not flat. Not rubbery. Just straight-up perfect. The kind of pancakes that remind you why breakfast matters.
Desmond ordered the meat omelette and absolutely inhaled it, which is always the most honest review there is. Potatoes were seasoned well, everything came out hot, and portions were solid without being ridiculous.
The vibe is casual, cute, and exactly what you want at the beach. Right on the water, relaxed atmosphere, and a great spot to start the day without feeling rushed.
We’ll definitely be adding this to our regular rotation when we’re in Navarre. If you’re anywhere near the beach and craving a real breakfast that delivers, this is the place.
This place makes you feel right at home even though you are on vacation. Such wonderful staff.
Love the live music and that they let the kids do karaoke. So fun to watch and listen to.
I will always make this my first stop when visiting especially if Sunshine the bartender is working.
However, there are a few points where the experience falls short, particularly regarding value:
• The Mimosa Flight: At $41, it’s simply not worth the price. Considering the base “champagne” (Wycliff Brut) retails for around $7 a bottle, the markup feels excessive. For comparison, The Edge Skybar in Fort Walton offers $3 mimosas, $15 bottomless options, and a view of the water.
• Quality of Ingredients: I was disappointed to hear from a staff member that they’ve switched to frozen fruit in the drinks for “cost efficiency.” Nobody wants a frozen strawberry ice cube; you lose the fresh flavor that makes a cocktail worth a premium price.
• Transparency Issues: It was a bit “eye-opening” to have a staff member talk about sourcing the “potato kegs” from the Publix freezer aisle. While I appreciate honesty, knowing that several menu items are just marked-up frozen goods makes it hard to justify the cost.
The Verdict: I’ll keep coming back for the Chicken Fried Steak because it’s a local winner, and I’ll deal with the mimosas out of pure convenience since I live nearby. However, if a friend asked for a recommendation for a brunch or a “value” spot, this wouldn’t be at the top of my list.
