The food is decent, though it could definitely use a bit more flavor to really stand out.

Excellent service—top-notch and very attentive.
The Verdict: The portions here are HUGE. You definitely get your money’s worth and won’t leave hungry!

I had such an amazing meal at Andy D’s Beachside Restaurant & Deck Bar in Navarre Beach, Florida! From the moment we sat down, the experience was top-notch—especially thanks to our server, Sunshine. She was absolutely excellent: attentive, friendly, and made the whole meal feel special and relaxed.

The mahi mahi was sooo good—fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. It quickly became the highlight of our trip. Every bite was delightful, and it’s honestly some of the best seafood I’ve had on the Gulf Coast. Sunshine’s service paired with a great dish made for one of the best meals. And ending with a slice of key lime pie was the cherry on top of the experience.

The atmosphere at Andy D’s is fun and laid-back, with a beachy vibe that perfectly matches Navarre Beach. Whether you’re grabbing lunch after a day in the sun or enjoying dinner with a view, it’s a great spot to take a break and really savor your food. I left wishing I lived closer because I’d absolutely eat here every day if I could. If you’re in the area and craving excellent seafood and great service, this place should be on your list!

Hands down one of the best breakfasts we’ve had in a long time.

The pancakes alone deserve their own fan club. Hot, thick, and perfectly cakey. Not flat. Not rubbery. Just straight-up perfect. The kind of pancakes that remind you why breakfast matters.

Desmond ordered the meat omelette and absolutely inhaled it, which is always the most honest review there is. Potatoes were seasoned well, everything came out hot, and portions were solid without being ridiculous.

The vibe is casual, cute, and exactly what you want at the beach. Right on the water, relaxed atmosphere, and a great spot to start the day without feeling rushed.

We’ll definitely be adding this to our regular rotation when we’re in Navarre. If you’re anywhere near the beach and craving a real breakfast that delivers, this is the place.

Andy D’s did not disappoint! I highly recommend! Food was hot, and very flavorful. Atmosphere was cool! There’s karaoke on the deck for night life. It’s clean, and pretty spacious on the inside. And guess what!? You’re at walking distance from the beach, pier, and sound. The waitress’ were all super friendly. We had Gracie, she was very attentive!

Arrived late to Navarre after a 9 hour drive and were famished. Heard Andy D’s from the parking lot at our condo and decided it was the closest place to find dinner. We were pleasantly surprised. We were immediately inside by pleasant staff, our server was professional, polite and accommodating. We ordered nachos, shrimp taco and reddish. The nachos had all the toppings and loaded with cheese just the way we like them. The tacos were well seasoned and full of shrimp. The reddish has also seasoned and perfectly cooked on the grill. Also ordered a slice of key lime pie. The portions were reasonable and we were stuffed, ready to walk off our food along the beach afterwards. It was late, just before closing so there was a late night crowd, understably they were loud and obnoxious, leaving the dinning experience, well let’s just say, you’re at a beach side restraunt/bar and it’s what is expected. I believe the staff spoke with the group because there was a time when they lowered their from shouting to using inside voices. The highlights of Andy D’s are the staff and the keylime pie. The keylime pie was up in the top 5 of keylime pie I’ve tasted. It was really that good. Thanks Andy D’s for the food. Good job.

Great place to eat and relax within walking distance of the hotels and beach. The food was good and the service was friendly. Our server, Sunny, was fantastic and gave great recommendations. This is one of the few places that allows pets both inside and outside. I also appreciated the quiet dining experience inside, even with a live band playing outside. You couldn’t hear it indoors, which I preferred.

You won’t find a more engaged owner & staff! Had BF & went back for dinner. The THICK tomahawk cut pork chop with bourbon glaze was plated with cheddar mashed potatos & ‘not exactly braised’ but flavorful apple slices & an onion au jus reduction. Absolutely delicious! Tried the fried cheesecake which reminded me of baked Alaska. I’d choose the plain cheesecake given a choice. The inside has the perfect tanginess of NY cheesecake. Owner & later, chef were by our table to answer a culinary ? The interior is the typical beach vibe with a large screen showing marine life that kids would love. As a 911 fire captain, there is a space dedicated to first responders & military, with discounts offered. A large seating area outside had a crowd with live . W/C accessible parking & porch landing. Highly recommend for REAL food! I love too that straws were eco-friendly

I love this place. I’ve been here several times before reviewing.
This place makes you feel right at home even though you are on vacation. Such wonderful staff.
Love the live music and that they let the kids do karaoke. So fun to watch and listen to.
I will always make this my first stop when visiting especially if Sunshine the bartender is working.

Our server Angie was amazing, love those glasses girl We will be back because not only is she the best and the food was amazing but being just steps from the beach is the chefs kiss of it all. For $6 you can get a huge serving of biscuits and gravy for under $20 my husband and I shared the country fried steak breakfast and I got the pancake side from his meal. It was perfect!!

As a Navarre local, I frequent Andy D’s often. If you are coming here for the food, you’re in for a treat—specifically the Chicken Fried Steak. It is easily one of the best I’ve had across all the spots I’ve tried in the area. It’s consistent, flavorful, and keep me coming back.
However, there are a few points where the experience falls short, particularly regarding value:
• The Mimosa Flight: At $41, it’s simply not worth the price. Considering the base “champagne” (Wycliff Brut) retails for around $7 a bottle, the markup feels excessive. For comparison, The Edge Skybar in Fort Walton offers $3 mimosas, $15 bottomless options, and a view of the water.
• Quality of Ingredients: I was disappointed to hear from a staff member that they’ve switched to frozen fruit in the drinks for “cost efficiency.” Nobody wants a frozen strawberry ice cube; you lose the fresh flavor that makes a cocktail worth a premium price.
• Transparency Issues: It was a bit “eye-opening” to have a staff member talk about sourcing the “potato kegs” from the Publix freezer aisle. While I appreciate honesty, knowing that several menu items are just marked-up frozen goods makes it hard to justify the cost.
The Verdict: I’ll keep coming back for the Chicken Fried Steak because it’s a local winner, and I’ll deal with the mimosas out of pure convenience since I live nearby. However, if a friend asked for a recommendation for a brunch or a “value” spot, this wouldn’t be at the top of my list.
