Stopped in randomly after going to Eastern Market. First time there and will definitely return. Staff were friendly and the food was good. When I asked if we could stay parked in their lot while we walked the river front, they even offered an umbrella with the enthusiastic yes.

A True Detroit Treasure!
Andrew’s Restaurant in downtown Detroit is a family-owned gem that’s been around since 1918 — and you can feel the love in every detail. The food is amazing, full of flavor and made with care. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the best part is that the whole family works there, keeping the tradition alive.

You’ll even see the owner nearby helping out in the parking lot — it doesn’t get more hands-on or heartfelt than that! Just a short walk from the beautiful Detroit Riverwalk, this spot is a must-visit for anyone looking for authentic food and genuine people. Great, great place!

Loved the atmosphere and crowd, food was very good, and service was friendly and attentive. A nice local spot with a very laid back feel and reasonable prices. I would guess it gets rowdy (in a fun way) on weekends and during local sporting events. Worth a stop for sure.

Perfect pub style bar with decent menu options for food an drinks (non-alcoholic/alcoholic). Atmosphere is very chill rather you’re getting a bite with the family or hanging out at the bar with multiple tvs an music. Food was quick an service was on point aswell.

It was adequate, but could have been better. Wait staff should have described food options better and make recommendations on the today’s specials. She forgot a few things that were requested and was just slow. I ordered the Rueben Sandwich which was pretty good.

There’s a smallish menu here, but a list of specials that rotates. I got the steak tips in zip sauce and did not regret it. Savory to the last bite paired with garlic bread.

Tom is the owner, Tom is an amazing guy. Friendly, kind, funny and found cake. The food was great, lots of fish dishes. A few craft beers. Greg was our server and awesome. Hidden jem of a bar and restaurant.

Old world charm. Great location great vibe full bar craft beers and great pub food. With their fleet of shuttle busses you can use Andrew’s to get to your event. Quinn was tending bar for us and was friendly and efficient. Right next to the Atwater Brewery and the Riverwalk you can’t go wrong with Andrew’s.

If your in the mood to stand around and wait. This is place for you. We followed the sign that asked to wait to be seated. After a few minutes we walked in and saw the sign the dinner room was close, however there plenty of people at the bar and open settings outside. The bar tender must have made eye contact with me 4 time each time immediately looking away. We stood around for a few minutes and left. It seems like the staff couldn’t find a clean glass in a sink.

Hidden treasure! What a gem of a local hot spot. Stopped in for dinner and a brew. Shrimp & Perch Basket was a delight. Lightly battered, plump shrimp and generous cuts of freshwater perch fried to perfection. Paired with a Detroit brewed – Cornerman Red Ale, I was not disappointed. The service is also personal and top-notch. Luke gave us pleasant conversation and wonderful local stories.
