I’m giving it 3 stars because the burgers could be way better. If I can make a markedly better burger on my Blackstone, then what’s your excuse? The patties seemed pre-cooked and weren’t nearly big enough for the bun, so they should either downsize the bun or make the patties bigger. There was also a distinct lack of toppings. The clam basket and onion rings were good though. I wanted to love this place, but I can’t say I’ll be back.

We really wanted to like this place, but it wasn’t meant to be. After driving by several times and seeing the signs advertising Lobster Rolls we decided to take a chance. Boy were we taken for a ride and disappointed. Perhaps instead of advertising Lobster Rolls, the truth would be two hot dog buns with too much lettuce and a dusting of tasteless “lobster” with no sides for $47.00. The owner should be embarrassed. We will never be back and neither should you.
UPDATE: I did receive a reply from Andrew’s offering a refund which was appreciated but that was not the purpose of my review. My hope is that they will do better in the future and maybe not offer items that they can’t execute well, at fair price.

Me and my wife own a small business a lot of times we have time to make our own lunch. Today we didn’t have that time. So we stop at speedway not evening see this place at first. We got our drinks and gas at speedway next door. We left speedway and seen this place we stopped looked at the clock and decided “we are ahead of schedule let’s stop and enjoy lunch”. And yes we did enjoy it. Thank you for the great experience and a spot we plan on stopping at any chance we can.

Great service. The staff was very friendly. The food was good. I enjoyed my burger called the cow’s head. The prices were a bit higher than I expected, but part of that I blame on inflation. They had a nice seating area out back. Lots of tables in a well groomed field. Swings for the kids and dog friendly. Give it a try.

Staff is friendly and food is good. Fries are excellent. The only drawback for me is the soft serve portions. I get mine in a cup to go and how much you get varies depending upon who serves it. Not sure how they gauge portion size but it seems like there should be different sized cups used just for that purpose so you get the same amount every time. Otherwise great place and glad that it is still up and running

Andrews is a small, outdoor, summer burger spot that has a small menu of burgers, chicken sandwiches, clam rolls, tots, and a few other various picnic food.
The food is done in usually 10-15 minutes from ordering and the prices are fair for the quality of food you get, which is all very tasty.
The service on the other hand is certainly lacking is almost every department. We frequent Andrews since its so close and convenient and last year (2023) and so far this year (2024) nearly every time weve gone (10+ times) there has been a major issue or missing items in the order. Whether its paying for extra items and not getting them or missing entire sandwiches, they are 0/7 on complete, accurate orders being handed to me.
Once in 2023 i placed an order and it processed, said order was ready for pickup, only to arrive to the store and it was closed. i didnt even press the issue because i understand its a small business, im able to eat a 25 dollar loss at the cost of not bothering them, however all these recent mistakes have lead to leave this review and double check every order from now on. the most recent “gotcha” moment was 2 sandwiches missing from a 4 sandwich order…..come on guys.

Don’t know what the bad reviews are all about, as in my travels I’ve eaten burgers at all kinds of restaurants and this one ranks in the top tier. Everything was tasty. I always like chipotle sauce however their house sauce is the bomb! Get 2 of those vs. one of each like I did. Tots were great and the onion rings were awesome – light batter and super crispy! I had the Suzie Q Burger, with Mushroom, Bacon Onion Jam and Swiss – truly great. Will be back next time in the Albany area. A must!

My son lives in Delmar and said this is one of his favorite places to eat. We went to lunch on a Saturday right as they opened at 11:30. Ordering was quick and easy. The wait for food was short.
Grandson had a burger that looked awesome and he loved. I had a clam roll which was loaded with clams. The French fries were excellent. They were crispy not soggy. We will go back!
