We had a lovely server named Nhyja (hope that’s how it’s spelt). And she was very friendly and attentive during our meal. She told us the specials of the day and ensured that we had everything we wanted, and even offered us some nice items “on the house” including seasoned popcorn and marshmallows and truffles after dinner.
Our meals consisted of a butternut squash soup and shared calamari, grilled swordfish, steak frites, and a chocolate mousse dessert.
The calamari was a little tough and the meat was a bit undercooked for medium rare, but we didn’t say anything since it was OK. We did not want to make a fuss about it… The ambiance and the service made up for those things.
I certainly would return and request to sit in the rear patio, which is honestly where most patrons were seated. The space is lovely, and I think this would be a nice “date night” location. There was even a musician playing a guitar outside!
Kudos to the wait staff for their attentiveness and friendliness. ☺️ Thank you!
The indoor decor was so unique and cute.
We were sat indoor on the main floor right next to the window with beautiful views of Seneca Lake (we did request ahead of time while making a reservation).
It was a bit too warm to dine outside, but we did walk around the restaurant. The lake was relaxing, the tables they have set up and nicely seated underneath an awning atop a nicely paved patio that’s connected to the building. They also have extended outdoor seating underneath an open tent.
I saw two or three tables that were special reserved for dining right next to the water, though there is no shade provided.
The only negative thing I experienced was the inexperienced wait staff that kept trying to take plates with food still on them away. They were so eager to bus the table they overlooked our empty water glasses numerous times.
Our server/waiter Logan (awesome name, btw) however, was excellent.
Overall, our experience was very pleasant.
Look forward to dining again in the near future!
The food was out of this world!
The chef has an amazing attention to the detail, flavor, and texture of the food. The service was hands down amazing and beyond attentive. They were able to have good turnaround on their courses but still have excellent attention to their quality of food.
The restaurant itself was very impressive and homey. It sits on the lake and when you walk in you are brought into a warm atmosphere.
We were very lucky someone recommended the restaurant and we can’t wait to go back.
All of our guest raved about the food, especially the appetizer Swedish meatballs. Our waiter was professional and accommodating. He took care of all of our guests needs. The cake was delicious and beautifully decorated.
If you are looking for a wedding venue that is reasonably priced, has beautiful views for pictures, and great service this is the place for you.
