I was in San Miguel for 10 days and ate out every night and this was the best restaurant with the coziest atmosphere. Just Divine food. Also very reasonably priced and what nice owners and chefs and servers.
I got Caesar salad which I got at other restaurants and by far the best I’ve ever had. What a delicious tasting dressing and my entree was just so good. It was salmon with lemon Cooper creamy sauce. Just enough lemony not heavy cream and a little salty which I like

We popped into Andrea’s for a late lunch and had an amazing experience, the food was prepared freshly within minutes. We enjoyed some wine and wished that we had room left for desert. Lavandar next door was packed and was only serving takeaway, I am now glad that was the case because our experience was far superior. I ordered the Shrimp a la diabla – simply delicious and generous, my sister ordered the Fettuccine Alfredo with chicken. The meal was also a generous portion and the sauce was incredibly flavorful. Andrea’s is now on my list of top 5 restaurants in SMA. Incredible value for stunning food.

At first, I wasn’t sure trying Italian food in San Miguel was a good idea. The place looked a small and there weren’t that many people. But I trusted my gut and it paid off. The food here were amazing. Very fresh, and very Italian indeed. Staffs were friendly and attentive as well. I am sure San Miguel has a lot of up market luxurious restaurant but I’d recommend this place very highly. Some good food without having to empty your walet.

Risotto with chicken and shrimp was very good
Chocolate cake, made in house, was awesome.

Cozy little Italian place that’s easy to miss if you’re not looking for it. I had a caprese salad, chicken parmesan and two glasses of Chilean red wine for 580 pesos. The tasty food was only 230 pesos! I’ll definitely be back.

Add this to you go-to list for best Italian restaurant in San Miguel de Allende! A small Italian restaurant you’d expect to find in Italy. Delicious fried mozzarella appetizer big enough for 2. Fabulous penne pasta with chicken and mushrooms in yummy pesto cream sauce. And the garlic bread very rich! Merlot by the glass was very good as well. Prices are so reasonable! Took home leftovers. Love 2 nights no cooking! On Loreto, by Artisan Market. UPDATE: Risotto with Seafood was amazing One of best meals I’ve had in San Miguel

A solid option for Italian food in SMA. 4 of us each had different entrees and they all came out piping hot and quickly. My chicken piccata was delicious. They have an outstanding red wine by the glass as well (from Montepulciano). Very friendly staff.

The small front room was full so we were lead down a corridor and the restaurant keeps going. Cosy atmosphere, with very upright chairs. The pasta wasn’t fresh and it made a difference.

Quaint Italian restaurant on the north side of Centro. It looks small but they have many more tables in the back. The chicken piccata was good. While the portion size was not very large, the price was reasonable.

San Miguel has become very expensive due to the influx of wealthy Mexicans and Americans. But San Miguel still has hidden food artists in small little kitchens who make excellent food for little money. They are hidden but they make San Miguel so special, if you can find them. This is a special place. Everything we were served was like a homemade recipe passed down and perfected over multiple generations. The vino tinto was even good, their house wine. We will be eating there at least once a week!
