From cocktails to appetizers to our steaks, everything was delicious and thoughtfully prepared.
Our waiter(s) were very impressive, good suggestions, and charming in a way Las Vegas would never be again. Total class.
The booths were very comfortable and private with high backs. It was quiet and easy to have a conversation. A real rarity in the Fremont area.
The service was outstanding and very professional, Marco was the best!
The food was also outstanding. We had the meatball appetizer and shared a wedge salad with blue cheese dressing which was so delicious. We had the porterhouse for dinner and it was very high quality and cooked to perfection. We will return here for sure!
Arrive hungry because the portions are meant to satisfy your palate and appetite!
We decided to sit at the bar and Jessica took great care of us!
We started with a Caesar salad and she gave us delicious warm bread with caponata to dip into (yummo!)
I ordered the shrimp scampi and I must say it was the best shrimp scampi I’ve ever had!
It was served over linguine with giant shrimp on top in a creamy scampi sauce.. so good!!!
My friend had a NY strip steak with a loaded baked potato and he was very satisfied..
Located at the “D” on Fremont upstairs made it easy to get to since we were staying on Fremont Street.
I would definitely go back again the next time I’m in town..
While we’ve ordered steaks, the scratch made pasta is definitely their area of strength in my opinion. The Fruti Di Mare is not to be missed! All of their noodles are homemade and the sauces are lovely! They prepare a great Osso Buco, the Lobster Bisque is rich and luxurious, and we love the Meatballs w/Whipped Ricotta! I’d say the only area where they fall flat is, the Caesar Salad. The romaine is consistently brown, which is a shame ‘cuz the dressing is well executed. It’s no biggie – we just skip it and enjoy the bread/eggplant service!
Overall, I’d highly recommend this downtown gem. And if you’re a gambler, the slots at The D do pay out when played in moderation. 😉
