Ordered a farmer chicken salad , salad was like couple of days old , sourdough bread was hard like a rock and the folks at the counter seemed like they wanted to get out of the place fast , I have tried your location in SF and it was awesome , this location I would not step back in again because of this experience when I was hungry , whatever you order don’t order the sandwiches!

Every item of our order came out excellent here. Very well done! We ordered vegetarian sandwiches, veg soups and veg salad. Tried Cranberry walnut bread and focaccia etc. Surprised by the consistent great quality! Must visit bakery in the mall. Service was pretty fast too, with friendly staff. Looks like lot of artisan bread varieties are out of stock by noon. So order ahead.

There was a long line when we visited, but decided to try it out. We bought the baguette sandwich special 2 for $12.50, the raspberry cheese Danish, mango creme Danish pastry, and the garlic cheese bread. Everything was tasty, except the banh mi wasn’t very filling. We were also charged $13.50 which was a dollar more than advertised for the baguette sandwich special.

Store hours are actually whenever they are available to open. Please update your hours, most people will understand that you been swamped recently. But they rarely open at 930am as advertised. May be closer to 1030ish during the weekday, it’s getting closer to 11am.

Great bakery! Nice fresh bread and super tasty sandwiches. Line is always long though, (for good reason!) so get here early and expect some wait time around peak hours. Customer service is great, these ladies are super friendly and accommodating.

purchased a uncut loaf of milk bread. The outer portion of the bread was hard and the taste of the bread inside the crust was missing. Their Japanese stores are actually pretty good, but this is Andersen America. the strawberry shortcake was also a big disappointment. Looks good on the outside but poor texture and flavor throughout.

My go to for some enjoyable and unique bake goods. Don’t miss the creamy French, mango muffin and the apple Danish. Never disappointed. Japanese owned company and had the privilege to visit the bakeries in Japan before. Only disappointment with the US location is not enough varieties.
