Cold draft made sitting inside uncomfortable. The kitchen seemed to be run by two boys who can’t yet grow facial hair.

The cocktails were undrinkably sweet. The Bread was nice but the dried tomato pate that came with it was too dry and insufficient- leaving one yearn for oliveoil. The ceviche was the nicest dish we had, but using fried sweet potato instead of traditional boiled sweet potato was a faux pas. The fried shrimp balls we’re disgusting and the kimchi mayonnaise a mere decoration as it did not suffice. My boyfriends steak was cooked unevenly and was rare in the Center and overcooked at both ends. My cannelloni tasted only like Béchamel sauce. The only memorable thing was a cheap seared pork skewer with teriyaki. Desserts were a huge disappointment- overly sweet and not interesting. We had high hopes for this place and left rather disappointed!

We are so happy we decided to visit this restaurant. The food was delicious, service really nice, ambiente also nice. I had the best gyoza, the best canneloni (forget the italian one) and a really good desert. So much love for this place♥️ I hope the cook lives a long and happy life!

Absolutely worth it! Could be a Michelin restaurant! Food and service was great!
We had gyoza and steak tartare as a starter and then lomo brasa and fish and chips for main course and it was like we were in heaven
Fantastic!!! Definately go there when you are in for good food, drinks and excellent service!
Warmest regards from Walter & Saskia van der Voort from Olanda!

The location is good and the food is decent, but unfortunately the service completely ruins the experience. The staff were anything but friendly, quite rude and clearly indisposed.
Despite having reserved a table in advance, we were seated right next to the open door, which was extremely cold due to the wind. We had to insist to have our table changed, and even then it was done in a very unfriendly and unprofessional manner.
To make matters worse, our glasses were dirty.
Overall, not a place I would recommend.

Inexperienced staff, food was good in theory but terribly executed. The restaurant has potential, but currently its lacking on almost all fronts. Avoid cocktails and desserts at all costs. Only memorable food was a cheap pork skewer with a nice teriyaki, but the other teriyaki dish did not taste of teriyaki at all so maybe they just got lucky.

Fantastic spot! One of the best ceviches I’ve had in my life. Andares is absolutely worth a detour if you love great food and are visiting La Palma.

Very excellent restaurant. The food tasted fresh and flavoursome. The meat was cooked to perfection. The restaurant has an open kitchen with an open fire and has a cast iron stove. The location was also very nice with natural elements and lovely ceramic crockery. Good service as well.

If you’re looking for an unforgettable dining experience on La Palma, Andares La Palma is the place to be! From the moment we stepped in, we were captivated by the stunning interior design—a perfect blend of minimalism and authenticity, setting the stage for a remarkable evening.

The food? Absolutely superb. Every dish was a masterpiece, showcasing the rich flavors of the island with a modern (bbq) twist. The attention to detail and quality of ingredients were evident in every bite.

The wine selection was equally impressive, perfectly complementing the meal and elevating the experience. The staff were attentive, knowledgeable, and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome.

Andares La Palma isn’t just a meal; it’s an experience. Whether you’re a food lover, a wine enthusiast, or someone who appreciates great service and ambiance, this restaurant hits all the marks. I can’t recommend it highly enough—truly deserving of five stars!

This place is a real gem. We were blown away by the quality of the food and the value for money. Flavours were subtle, interesting there was a lot of care in the presentaion and service. Needs more praise.. is considerably better than the other more celebrated restaurants in Santa Cruz. It deserves a Bib Gourmand, no question.
