To top it all off we had the tres leches cake for dessert which was just fantastic not only in presentation but also in taste.
I would definitely return here for lunch and would be interested to try their dinners.
Above all, service was outstanding. We had to give 20% tip, well-deserved. Alvaro and Maciel were attentive and accommodated even the tiniest requests.
So glad to spend time here in beautiful San Miguel de Allende!

The restaurant is beautiful with a great ambiance, we were lucky to enjoy some life violin music.
The service was outstanding as well.
Food, the short rib 20/10, the striploin 8.5/10
The tiradita toastado 1000/10
Honestly the food was so impressive I need to come back tomorrow. So accommodating for allergies too. Highly recommend
Our favorite dishes were the gluten-free apple bread (the butter and fruit jams that accompanied it were splendid)
, guacamole, and arrachera tacos (the green habanero sauce is amazing ). The cocktails were also delicious.
Perks of staying at the hotel: enjoy the dishes in your room or by the pool
The service of the staff was really friendly and attentive. They remembered our dietary restrictions and preferences when we went back the second day
The only small “downside” is that because the building doors were open, you could occasionally smell the car exhaust coming from the streets (when traffic is busy).
