Come and experience the enhanced dining experience we’ve created for you! We’ve changed our name to Similan-Andaman Thai. We’ve been sisters’ restaurants with the same management as Andaman Thai. Similan is our original restaurant, and we later expanded to Andaman Thai in San Ramon and Walnut Creek. We’ve decided to change our name to the same name to better serve you. Rest assured, our management and cooks are the same as before, so you can continue to enjoy the same delicious food.

Amazing service, shoutout to Job! Get the Tom Kha soup, umami and warm. The chicken satay is also fresh and tender. They also have a secret rib dish that’s not on the menu!

Food was generally good, except for the Mango Salad. We ordered TomYum soup and fried rice, both of which were well made and tasty. The mango salad had ripe mango and a lot of syrup put in it, too sweet. The atmosphere was nice but the place is a bit cramped by adding too many tables compared to the size of the place.

Similan – Andaman is my absolute favorite Thai restaurant in the TriValley. My wife and I are absolutely obsessed. The service is warm, friendly, and punctual. The restaurant and ambiance is clean and comfortable. We absolutely love the drunken noodle, red curry, green curry, and yellow curry. We are actually headed there again tonight for dinner because we love it so much! They have sister locations in Walnut Creek and San Ramon that are also very high quality.

Went here as a member of eight family members! They were super accommodating and they will come down with a huge smile. The food was super fresh and less oily. Many vegetarian options. The food was something that I would come back to. This is an amazing experience. I wish they open something like this and Fremont.
