We ordered vegan Tinga empanadas which were literally the best empanadas I’ve ever had in my life! Amazing texture on the blue corn maze crust was delightfully crafted, flaky-crisp and soft at the same time. The filling was incredible as well. The chips, salsa trio & guacamole were awesome as well. Someone must be growing tomatoes for them because they taste surprisingly fresh as do all the ingredients. Andale has earned its place in the top tier restaurants of Los Gatos and Saratoga and we love it!

Andale in Los Gatos is a clear winner. I had never made arrangements for a group of 30 before, and the manager, Carlos, helped curate a special, economical dinner which felt quite grand and elegant. I was excited to tell people where we celebrating.
We walked in to the patio to find a lovely, green space. The table was set with specially printed menus and people were able to pick their starter and main course and enjoy aqua fresca and/or iced tea/lemonade and dessert. I was expecting buffet trays but everyone got beautifully plated dishes, which made the dinner more formal. People LOVED the food. I got the salmon and it was incredibly flavorful and a great portion size – I need to return for more salmon.
The amazing food, drinks, set-up, service, and the lovely patio space made the evening feel perfect and elegant. This is a great place to make fond memories for important occasions.

Every single dish we ordered was super tasty, which is truly the hallmark of a fantastic restaurant. We had the vegetarian jackfruit tacos, enchiladas, tortilla chips with guacamole, salsa & a bean dip, and every single item tasted distinct but superb. Devoured it all and would definitely go back! The only downside was the service was pretty slow – there seemed to be only a couple of waitresses & it took eons to finally get the attention of one.

Located in downtown Los Gatos, this is a nice Mexican restaurant. Service was good. We had a pitcher of the Cadillac Margarita which comes with a nacho plate (not on the main menu). This was enough appetizer for 5 and there were options for veg and non veg. It was very good. Cheesy. For dinner we had the chipotle burrito, mole enchilada, tacos and chili verde plate. Burrito was ok with not much flavor. However the rest of the food was good. Service was prompt. The back patio is quieter with heat lamps.

The restaurant has a pleasant ambiance, one of the great things is restaurant also has cozy backyard dining and comfortable outdoor front seating. Highly recommend for all group sizes. Food tastes delicious and quick service too.

Very cute back patio area! Food is good but not amazing, although we did have an order mix-up. And while I enjoyed all three salsas, we did feel the amount of salsa was a little light for the amount of chips – we were so stuffed by the end of our meal, though, we didn’t think to ask for more.
Between my torta and my wife’s burrito, nothing blew us away just yet, but we enjoyed the ambience enough that we’ll come back to try other dishes.

Downtown Los Gatos, this is a cute Mexican restaurant, with a really nice back patio area. It is clean, comfortable, and service was great. On a cold raining spring afternoon, they were accommodating our desire to seat in the patio by turning on the heaters. Food wise, it was a mix, the shirmps were pretty delicious, good quality, but the pork was really dry and hard. Inconsistent with our previous experiences.

Ordered carnitas dinner take out. Got home and the tortillas were missing, maybe 6 beans in a lot of liquid and probably half the pork they used to serve. Used to be a worthwhile take out but no longer.

i always say, how can you tell if a place is good? enty of seating both inside and out back. As I got in line I noted that they have a full bar, a fresh squeezed orange juice machine, beer, Mexican sodas and more.
The menu is straight forward, everything is made fresh and they have locally sourced food and USDA choice meats.
I ordered El Presidente (say that with me, El presidente) burrito and wifey got the fresh grilled fish burrito. After we placed our ordering went to the Pico bar. I tried 3 different ones, all 3 are excellent, super fresh with great flavor.
My burrito was amazing from the first bite I could taste the grilled chicken then my mouth exploded with the taste of their homemade pico. It had fresh crisp flavors in every bite, don’t even get me started on the shrimp, sooooo ggggoooood!
To drink I had a horchata, honestly it was meh at best.
The table service is great and they stay on top of cleaning the tables. As soon as a patron would leave the table was cleaned (hard to do considering how busy they are)
Overall this is a great place and I definitely recommend giving them a try.
