I should have read these reviews before eating here. Came in with a two friends about two weeks ago and two of us got sick. One of the staff had mentioned she hadn’t seen us before and we certainly will not be coming back.they need to get their act together and keep locals or else they’ll go under just as fast as Saltwater Tavern did.

The only thing that they did right besides the waitress being semi nice was the fact they took the wings off our bill (pictured below). My blt was shaved bacon with 95 percent lettuce and roll.i got sick. One of my other friends had a hamburger and was sick. The only thing I regret is not calling them back to tell them about the illness.

Food was good and in generous portions. Staff and owners were very friendly. Great and inexpensive selection of draft beer with a very affordable 24 oz option for all on draft. Great for wing nights.

We won’t be going back. My family was very excited to have something new opening up. We went there last night for dinner. Our waitress was nice but not experienced at all. There was a very limited menu and half of the items on it were not available to order. Which left appetizers a burger and some sea food. It took a very long time for a waitress to even come over to take our drinks. Dinner took even longer. The food wasn’t horrible tasting but not something I would choose to eat again. Especially when there are so many other places in town to eat with really good food. The reason for the 1 star is because the 2 of us who had burgers became violently sick a few hours later. It as awful.

I wanted to try their Greek food (ask for that menu) so just had dinner there. I had the stuffed peppers. They were very good. I loved the beautiful fresh tomato sauce they were served with. The Greek salad that accompanied the dinner was fresh and delicious too. For an appetizer we ordered the pita with humans tzatziki and the pita appeared to be fresh made. Really good. My spouse had the gyro and Greek salad and enjoyed that as well. Service was fine. It was apparent that the server was new but she was very friendly and tried to give us as much information as possible about wines and food. The owner was very nice and I’ll be back.

I really hope this place does well since Rhody Joe’s was a fun place to hang out and was always busy. However we were there tonight with five people and we were the only five people there for 3 hours. We had 5 appetizers which were just okay. We ordered nachos which came in a bowl which I’ve never seen before which really lacked sour cream and salsa sauce was very dry. We asked for chicken wings and they said they had none which was very surprising since it was a Thursday night no chicken wings? We did order an order of boneless chicken in an order of boneless chicken with buffalo sauce on it. About 45 minutes later the manager came over and said we had chicken wings which I’m only assuming they ran to the market to buy some we did not order them. They told us there was going to be a band coming into play and then said that the gentleman who is coming into play came but forgot his equipment which made no sense logically it would just assume that they told him not to come because the place was empty. Staff was helpful and very polite however they need to do something different if they want this place the last.

Stopped in for dinner last night. It’s a soft opening so menu was limited. I had the filet mignon which was delicious. Presentation could be better. Food was kinda just thrown on the plate . Would be nice to have a really good warm roll or bread with dinner. Barbecue wings were good. Hamburger and fries were dry and not very exciting. Good luck with the restaurant. Your 3 year old was adorable as she kept coming into the dining room.

College bar atmosphere. Waited an hour and a half for our food. Only half of what was ordered came out, and it was cold or luke warm at best. Some was inedible. Management did adjust our bill, but we will not be returning. There are too many decent restaurants around to risk having another bad experience at that place again.

I sat at the bar to catch the 2nd and 3rd periods of a Bruins game. Janet (the manager) was very friendly and welcoming. I ordered a glass of wine and the roast beef sandwich, as recommended by the bartendress, Bridgette. The sandwich (with a hit of horseradish sauce!) and curly fries were delicious! The sandwich was large enough to save half for later! Bridgette was very attentive and made sure that the hockey game was on a couple of T.V.s. There was a very laid back open mic acoustic night going on and the place was really comfortable. Hope they do this every Sunday night! They are working on the “draw”. They just need the masses to flood the gates. I hope it happens for them. Check them out! I’ll be going back, for sure.

Went on a Tuesday evening, quiet inside. The waitress took our drink order, ordered a Pineapple and coconut rum for myself and a water for my husband, waitress carried cups out by the top of the glass were one would drink out of…it’s a big no no in DOH service standard. Chicken parm bland no spice, mozzarella sticks over cook, hollow, just breading shells, fish and chips were a good size. Plates covered in residue grease. Not recommended

Was very excited to see a new restaurant coming to Wakefield-Peacedale area. When the sign went up announcing Anchor Pete’s I was excited thinking we may have a steak and seafood place. We went tonight expecting to see a Saturday night crowd excited to see the menu. Not too many people. But it is a new restaurant. We sat at the bar waiting to be greeted. Finally bartender came over and offered us two menus Breakfast all day and a lunch/dinner. What a disappointment. The dinner menu was very limited high priced for what was being offered. Sadly we walked out. If we wanted breakfast for dinner we would have gone to Denny’s. Sorry anchor pete’s- you may want to reconsider your menu.
