We waited about 10 minutes before we got our table. There were many open tables, and we had a reservation. The sign was already on the table but we had to wait for the staff which I believe were hiding in the kitchen. Took forever to get our drinks, some drinks didn’t even come, some requests for sides/dipping sauces were never brought. We ordered an app and had to wait for plates. We left the restaurant with all empty water glasses and drinks. I had the hot honey chicken which was very dry. The fish was good as we went on a Friday. I am a bartender/ server myself and I noticed our waitress talking a lot and laughing with staff. Extremely slow service and would leave upon arrival if I got stuck with the same server. Bring warm clothes if you go in the winter. Never took my coat off.

We stopped here 4 times while staying nearby on Lake Alexander. A couple times by car and a couple by boat. You can pull right up and park the boat. It has a nice patio. They had a good selection of beers, including some craft. The drinks were good. We had cheese curds, soup, salad, nachos, jerk on a stick, burgers, etc… all were tasty. The only thing I didn’t like was the street corn. They did say in the description that they use baby corn but I didn’t like the flavor either. To be fair though I love elote and so was hoping for something like that when we ordered. It was awesome having a great place so close to our cabin.

I like to keep my reviews short and sweet…or not. This one is sweet! I have nothing but good things to say about this place. The food, the service, and the atmosphere is great! What a gem on shore of Lake Alexander. If you’re in the area, you have to stop in. You won’t regret it. Keep up the good work Anchor North!

I loved this place. The food is amazing, I got the broasted chicken and it was absolutely delicious. The service in general is on top but the bartender was attentive, friendly and she made the best cosmo ever.

We are local and normally LOVE this place and visit often. We definitely will not be back with summer staff. Insanely rude, burnt food and then when remade said “this is as light as I can make it” and it’s even more burnt definitely felt intentional. We had to laugh this off as it was so ridiculous. We asked the waiter if she would eat it and she even said no. Super disappointed as this was my fav place and now I don’t know if I can bring myself to return knowing they hire staff that treat people that way.

The cheese curds were divine. Steak was giant! Such a beautiful spot for a meal. We have always loved this place. The new name and owners are doing a fine job of it. I think there is live music sometimes too. Just a nice, friendly place. Gorgeous view.

Service and food was exceptional! The combo appetizer platter was truly more than enough for three people. Also, they allow dogs outside on the picnic tables. And we drove right up with our boat and parked at their marina, how cool!

My husband and I went out for dinner to try it out since the new owners took over. He had the ribeye which lacked flavor and seasoning, the mashed potatoes were good. The onion appetizer was yummy but not worth the money in my opinion. I had the Nashville hot chicken sandwich which was ok. It was nothing spectacular and I was hoping for more wow for the amount of money they charge. Also when we got the bill, it only stated the amount we owed and not what we got charged for. An itemized receipt would be nice so you know what you are getting charged for.

We stopped by this fall with my dad. I think we both commented it’s been around 25 years since we’ve been in the building. We were all delighted. The food was great, the lady behind the bar was great, and we will have to stop by again sometime.
