The Coconut Caffe and Monte Christo were delicious. Because I was eating in, they made my coffee in a real mug – without asking! Seems a little silly, but I appreciate that they do that for customers dining in. My drink was a perfect balance of caffeine & coconut flavor. The Monte Christo sandwich was a wonderful combination of sweet & savory. The bread was ‘french toasted’ and a smattering of powdered sugar which offset the tang of the mustard sauce. The side of fruit was an extra delight. I’d eat it every week if I was in this part of town frequently! The staff was friendly, the shoppe clean and bright with natural light coming in the windows. A very enjoyable, slow down for my week at Anchor Island!

I absolutely adore this place. Moved here not that long ago and having a spot near me this good is extraordinary. Addicted to the breakfast burrito. Best vegetarian one I’ve probably ever had. It’s perfect for many reasons; the soft homemade tortilla, the egg and cheese ratio w the toppings, sour cream and onions, the tricolor tortillas strips, and of course the diagonal cut that makes every bite a perfect one. Get all the sauces the spicy one is my favorite.

This coffee stop was recommended by a barista and it did not disappoint. The server was friendly and joked around with us. I’m always nervous going to new places so it was very welcoming and I appreciated it. A few of us had bagel breakfast sandwiches and the bagels were perfect, a little crispy on the edges and soft-ish in the middle. Sadly, I was too excited and ate before getting a picture. I had a Lavender Latte and it was lovely. Fragrant and fresh. The drinks were served in different random coffee mugs, which I loved. Absolutely would return.

This is one of my favorite coffee places. I love the espresso beans they use from broadway roasting co, so much so I started buying them for my home. The coffee here is always superb! I’ve tried a few different espresso based drinks. My favorite drink is the Horchata Latte The food is not too bad.. The tamales are really good, I recently tried some breakfast ( french toast, bacon, breakfast potatoes) everything was great but the portions on the potatoes were not worth the price. I wish I took a picture it was a sprinkle of potatoes in my box lol but other than that. Great little coffee shop!

Great little midtown coffee shop with real food — delicious burritos and quesadillas. Plenty of room upstairs and down to sit and enjoy some time with friends.

The food is incredibly delicious, so many options and if you want to add or take something off they are so good about it. The drinks are such a huge variety of options for all . I love the way you feel like you’re part of the community. Definitely a must place to try and and then to also just hag out.

This place is an absolute gem! We drove 20 minutes to come try it and we will be back. This may have been the best breakfast burrito I’ve ever had. I got the Egg Breakfast Chorizo Burrito. Typically I cover my burritos in Cholula sauce and sour cream for added spice and flavor but this burrito needed nothing extra. I did add jalapenos, which I recommend if you like a little extra spice, but it would’ve been fine without. I’m not a coffee drinker so I tried the strawberry lemonade and it was DELICIOUS. And it came out in a little tiki glass which was such a cute touch.
My husband got a steak bowl and he enjoyed it. He wants to come back to try some other dishes, too.
The staff were all friendly and helpful answering my questions about the menu items. The vibe was immaculate. It’s such a cool spot.
I highly recommend checking out this spot if you’re in the KC metro area. We came from Grandview and it was straight down 71hwy for us so it’s easy to get to.

Stopped in on our way out of town today, and will definitely be back next time we visit! Clearly a vibrant and popular community space, I could see that the person at the register recognized their regulars and it feels like a lot of the customers frequented the cafe.
We got the Chori Papa and blueberry bagel, which were both hot and delicious. Our lattes were perfectly sweetened, and they had some great flavor selections! (We got Salted Caramel/Dark Chocolate and a Pumpkin/White Mocha/Salted Caramel)
The inside was also so cute, lots of plants and artwork and great music. 100/10, you’ve gotta make your way in!

We didn’t get to try any food, because we got there too late, but the coconut caffe and the dirty sunrise were absolutely amazing!! Also the owners were amazing and allowed my girlfriend and I to come in after closing to have a photoshoot inside. We were so grateful for them allowing this. We will definitely be back!!

This coffee shop is incredible! They have a lovely atmospheric upstairs area, with lots of beautiful plants.
They had the best burrito in KC, hands down! (I got the egg breakfast burrito with chirizo and sub rice instead of egg.)
Their mango smoothie was also unexpectedly delicious! Enjoyed my London fog too!
10/10 recommendation, and plus, now they’re open later on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays!
