I stopped at Anchor Hoagies for a quick lunch. I didn’t have time to sit down, but I ordered the chicken parm hot hoagie and chips to go. My order came out after only a few minutes, and everything was served hot and fresh. The food was really great. There were plenty of other menu options that looked interesting too. Parking was somewhat limited.

Our team had a hoagie fundraiser which we bought Anchor hoagies. They were the worst, cheapest, lowest quality product ever. Italian was mortadella, pressed ham a d mozzarella with soaking wet lettuce and tomato. Turkey had 2 small slices of turkey. Basically all soaking wet bread with no substance.

05/24/24, this was my first time here and I ordered inside Togo. I’m glad I got there as early as I did because while I was waiting it started to get busy. I suggest pre-ordering for a more seamless pickup but, I still didn’t wait long. I ordered a 12” meatball hoagie and let me tell you…it was one of the best I’ve ever had. The meatballs were huge and flavorful. I’ve had hoagies with bigger meatballs that were flavorless but, not here! The marinara was spot on too! Not too much on the hoagie that it was dripping all over and actually it was a thicker marinara which held up well with each bite. The provolone was melted into the sauce and enhanced the flavor. The bread was fresh and I had a 20 minute ride home and there was no sogginess. The staff was considerate and greeted me as soon as I walked in. I only gave the shop 4*’s as I only ate one thing. I will without a doubt be going back and I will then adjust. I highly recommend Anchor Hoagies!
06/06/24 Updated, so today I went back and wanted to get something not regularly on a hoagie shop menu. I opted for the gyro hoagie and let me tell you, I wasn’t disappointed. In my opinion there was only one thing that could have been a little better. That was the tzatziki sauce. It wasn’t bad but, it wasn’t as tasty as I’m use to eating. Otherwise the hoagie was top notch. The meat was flavorful and there was a lot on the hoagie. The lettuce, tomatoes and onions were all fresh. I again had a 20+ minute ride home and no sogginess to the bun, which also was fresh. I was a little skeptical because the hoagie was placed in a plastic container but, it worked. They have a points rewards program that you can build up and use for future purchases. I had some questions about it and the woman working there answered my questions helpfully and with a smile. They also are a veteran run business and give a 10% discount to first responders and military (with a valid ID)! All in all I upgraded this shop to 5*’s based on getting two styles of hoagies that aren’t the easiest and I was totally satisfied. My next trip I will be getting a cold cut hoagie and I can’t wait!!

I was there today .. food was amazing and exceptional service my bartender was Sammi .. service with a smile from this amazing outsiding woman .. went out of her way to go the extra mile and put a smiley face on my receipt and called me queen makes me feel great about myself when she is a goddess herself. Will definitely be back just because of her the food was good too.

Walking into the lobby was very clean and inviting. Great service. Great hoagie buns. My only small complaints were that a my “BLT” came with only . The only other complaint was that the meat on my classic Italian subs meat was a bit sub-par in quality. Otherwise, the taste and quality was good.

Food is always good. This was a weird experience for me though. My online order said it would be ready by 502 or something like that. I did arrive a few minutes early and they said it will be 5 minutes, they were just waiting for the fries to finish, which was fine. It ended up being almost another 20 minutes just for the fries, and I was watching them be made and handed out for other orders. I will still order from here, they have great food!

First time ever ordering from this business, I get there and my order was smaller than expected but I didn’t mind since I had heard good things about this place from friends. I get my order and there’s no dressing on it like I ordered so I went back in and got the “oil and vinegar” which was just cheap oil minus the vinegar. The worst part was the chicken, it was quite literally just breading with a taste of chicken to the side. When I bought a sub with grilled chicken, I expected legitimate grilled chicken pieces and not bread for geese. Probably the worst sub I’ve ever bitten into, absolutely horrendous and will not be going back. I ended up throwing the sub away and going to subway where I could get some grilled chicken that at least looked real. I paid $14 for this. I could’ve gotten a foot long at subway and still have money leftover for the gas used to get there. Insane.

Update 2/17/26: Worst Fish sandwich? Don’t get take out. I get the typical “busy rush”, your food is running behind. But I’m 10 minutes late and waiting another 10 minutes for food. Whatever, but yet again Anchor hoagies does me dirty, 3rd time? I must be stupid to keep coming back. Not only is their fish sandwich $17 now but it sucks. It’s smaller, they once again left out most of my order instructions, missing oregano, salt pepper, oil vinegar, and the lettuce is nasty. Such a shame to see a great place run into the ground. Fries came out soggy, so 5 minutes in my air fryer they look great again. Why am I paying you?
Can’t get good help or enough help but you can afford to build up the restaurant dining/ gambling area… Hmmmm. Always hiring
