Anchor Drafthouse is an absolute hidden gem in Salter Path. The atmosphere is exactly what you want at the beach—a relaxed, eclectic dive bar vibe right on the water. The pizza here is outstanding; I highly recommend trying ‘The Mack’ (it’s like a Big Mac on a pizza!) or the Carnivore if you’re hungry. They also have a fantastic rotation of local craft beers on tap. If the weather is nice, definitely grab a seat on the back deck to enjoy the amazing views of the Bogue Sound while you eat.

We’ve been coming to the area for about 6 years. This is our first time trying anchor and it is AMAZING! We sat outside on the water with live music and it was perfect. We got the margarita pizza, pepperoni pizza, wings, and loaded fries and all of them were sooo good! The cheese on the pizza tasted so fresh! We devoured before I could take a picture of the rest. I’m trying to figure out a way to go one more time before we leave! will definitely come back here every year!

I stopped here on a Sunday afternoon for a quick casual lunch near the beach . The turkey sub was good and fries were a bit unique. They have a nice and cozy interior atmosphere and unfortunately the outdoor seating area was closed because it was still soaked after a storm. The unpaved parking lot was flooded and it was inconvenient to drive and walk through it. Hopefully they can improve the parking area.

Great experience. I believe it was Nancy who took care of us. 10/10. Food was excellent and FAST. Great draft selection and even my pickiest of eaters couldn’t get enough of the pizza and boneless wings. Fried ravioli is a must along with those dipping fries (add cheese & bacon).

Lunch was absolutely delicious! The staff was great and the Bloody Marys were spot on. If we ever find ourselves back on Atlantic Beach we will most definitely be hitting the Anchor Drafthouse up for a return visit. Great job y’all.. absolutely awesome!

This place is so cool inside and the view is gorgeous!! Food is amazing as well but really the staff is what makes this place great. My sister had an issue with her wings (she’s picky haha) and they helped her out as well. Overall amazing food and amazing people!

Taking a look at the google reviews was enough that we knew this would be a good spot!
We started off with the garlic cheese bread that was like a medium pizza itself. This was a great sign of what their pizza was going to be like. The kids each got a personal cheese and a pepperoni. They bashed those on top of one too many slices of cheese bread.
The wife and I got Large a build your own pepperoni, Italian sausage, bacon, onion and banana pepper. With the cheese bread we should have ordered a medium. Wow this pizza was amazing! The sliced Italian sausage and their cheese…

The inside was a pretty cool looking joint, my son and I were digging the pop culture references. It was cooling off enough that we sat outside with a great view too.
The service was on point and they were pretty busy too.
Looking forward to our leftovers!!

Beautiful little spot by the water. You can sit and eat outside and enjoy the breeze or sit inside and enjoy the full bar. Perfect vibe for a chill day. Thank me later. Drinks are superb.

We highly recommend this place. The food is absolutely delicious. Service was very friendly and fast. The owner is just so accommodating and super sweet, he made our experience that much greater.

The Hawaiian pizza has bacon which I’ve never had bacon in it and it was so good.

Dog and vegetarian friendly restaurant. Even offered a free small bowl of pepperonis and fresh water for my canine companion. The Jalapenos Quarters were perfect. The toppings on the Salad Pizza kept falling off so it was awkward to eat as compared to other veggie pizzas I’ve had but a after an hour drive to the hotel and a few hours later this pizza was still good. Great customer service is the biggest thing. Definitely a return visit planned
