First time there and I loved the atmosphere, not all bright like other sports bars. Funny I walked in and said Willie Nelson would come in a place like this, then i sat down and looked on the wall… a big picture of Willie. I laughed. The music was good too…good ole classic rock and some 80’s jams. Better than other places play that boring stuff of today. The staff was friendly and the place was nice and clean. My Buffalo hot wings and fries were good too had a nice flavor to them. I’ll be back to try some more food.

Here has wifi too, can use it by not need password.
Food yummy, we recommend WINGS

anchor bar is a cool place, and overall we had a decent experience. our server was very nice, the space is decked out in bills stuff, and they have plenty of seating so there was no wait. we specifically came for the wings and that is where it felt like they came up short. the flavor was just lacking, as if the sauces were a bit watered down. not sure if we had bad luck or not. i think we’d come back during a bills game for fun, but maybe try some other food.

Awesome customer service!! It’s definitely a hidden Gem if you’re planning to bring your dog this is the way to go. They have an indoor restaurant AC temperature for them. Plus they also have a menu for the fur babies. Our server (Hope) was really sweet and very helpful! Definitely will be returning. Promise wont disappoint!! Plus the food was awesome

I had no idea there was a “Buffalo Bills” bar here in the middle of Texas. If you know anything about the Bills Mafia, they are the nicest people you will ever meet! Just picture the opposite of Eagles fans. The food is great! The staff is great! Even the customers are cool people! I’ll be here often and when the Bills make it to the super bowl.

I had a wonderful experience at Anchor Bar! Our waitress “Hope” was incredible! The food was delicious, fresh, and full of flavor. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, not only to me & my wife but also to my dog. They made sure we had everything we needed, brought out water for my pup, and made us feel comfortable the whole time. It’s rare to find such great customer service that goes the extra mile, especially when dining with a dog. We’ll definitely be coming back—highly recommend this spot!

Stop going to Pluckers! Anchor Bar has the best wings. The dog menu is priceless. The enclosed “patio” is temperature controlled and dog friendly, they have water bowls for your dog.

When the Anchor Bar started expanding its locations, I was thrilled to discover Austin (Round Rock) would get a store.
They are the OG of wings. Decades since starting in Buffalo, Anchors Bar continues to serve high quality wings with tasty sauce just like they were made decades ago. Seriously, their quality control must be very strict. I have never had undercooked wings here and the sauce always seems to be the right amount (not drowning in it).
These days, wings are prolific, featured in almost every bar, and restaurant. There are tons of sauce variations. Wings come in many different sizes from embarrassingly small to jumbo.
If you want the “Goldilocks Wings” (those that are just right), get yourself over to the Anchor Bar!
