Food was great. Chips and salsa was fantastic. Sopes were just okay, the dough was a little over cooked for my liking, but for sure with the stop. My partner had the Mole Rojo and said it was top notch.

Came here on a weekday afternoon with my husband and had a great experience. We ordered the chicken enchiladas plate he chose red sauce and I had green. Both were delicious. The horchata was amazing, and the micheladas really hit the spot. We’ll definitely be back!

My second time here and I must the food is delicious and authentic tasting. The service is warm and welcoming.
The Mole was a good level of sweetness to it but good flavor. Fried Fish is excellent, very moist inside. The Birria Quesadilla is tasty, full flavor.
Looking forward to coming back soon. They Menudo on the menu on Sundays.

The food here was outstanding from start to finish. The chips and salsa were incredibly flavorful, and the Mole Rojo was rich, fresh, and beautifully prepared. My kids especially loved the agua de horchata. The restaurant has a welcoming, family-friendly atmosphere with a nice interior, and the service was quick, attentive, and efficient. Everything tasted fresh and well made, and the portions were generous for the price. Parking was easy, prices were reasonable, and overall it’s one of the best Mexican cuisine spots I’ve been to. Highly recommended for great food and quality service.

The chips and salsa is very flavorful. Tacos are served with their home made tortillas and very delicious. The chilaquiles was an absolutely massive plate as well.
The highlight was the Capirotada. It was absolutely delicious and they put their own spin on it. They place the bread pudding in a warm tres leches style mix and top it with a scoop of ice cream. It was one of the best desserts I’ve had in a restaurant.

I don’t usually post reviews but it would be criminal not to share my experience! The restaurant was clean and I loved the decorum. You can tell that a lot of love was put into the creation of the restaurant itself – from the ceilings to the wall art. The service was impeccable. I stopped in with my son to get him a meal to go, and the menu itself looked so good. He picked the huevos divorciados, which is a Mexican breakfast of eggs and beans, half covered in red salsa and the other covered in green. While we waited, the hostess offered us a seat and brought us glass of water. She also offered us chips and salsa even though we weren’t dining in. She offered exemplary service to us and others who walked in afterward. My son broke into his food as soon as we left, and although he is usually quiet, he kept exclaiming how good the food it was. He said he’d never had a better tortilla. It looked as delicious as it tasted. I can’t wait to return to dine in with the rest of my family! I wish this place the best or luck.
*came back to add that it came up that my son wished the food had been seasoned better. I tasted the last of his beans and sure enough, it tasted nearly unsalted. I saw that lack of seasoning was coming up a lot in the lower reviews… so hopefully Ancestros works on that because I would hate for something as simple as salt to ruin the experience.

I saw that lack of seasoning was coming up a lot in the lower reviews… so hopefully Ancestros works on that because I would hate for something as simple as salt to ruin the experience.

New spot in LB and it did not disappoint. I ordered a bacon breakfast burrito over the phone. Excellent service from the start. I asked for whole beans on my burrito, I received a call back and was made aware that the whole beans weren’t ready yet, so I accepted the refried beans. Parking was easy that early in the day. I arrived and was greeted with several smiles. I paid for my meal and mentioned that they should put the menu on Google. My meal and was brought to me a few minutes later. I opened it up and was pleasantly surprised with size of my bacon breakfast burrito and the chili, salsa, and chips it came with. I took the first bite and knew I’d found my new breakfast burrito spot!
10/10, the beans were so tasty, as well as the rice, fluffy eggs (they were cooked perfectly, no hard parts), not too much cheese, the bacon was smoky and not salty and it was cooked perfectly not super crunchy but meaty, and it had nice soft potatoes. Honestly I don’t think I can eat any other type of breakfast burrito as this one was so clean, not greasy, not oily, not salty. I can’t stress enough that it didn’t weight me down or make me feel yuck in anyway. I really hope it’s the same on my next visit and that the chef doesn’t ever lose their oomph!
And they also posted the menu on Google today! You all should definitely give this place a shot. We’re going to for dinner later this week! I can’t wait to get one of those pretty plated meals!

Everything was very good, café de olla was so delicious, huevos rancheros can be order with green or red salsa, breakfast burrito was big, and they keep asking if we were doing okay.
