Nearly two hours for delivery and it wasn’t worth the wait. Garlic chilli special and not a chilli in sight. Tasteless and poor portion size.
On a plus side, the naan wasn’t bad and the delivery driver was friendly.

The cooking is excellent! Cooked freshly all the time. We have been cooking Indian food at home previously, but now we have a new option, and – amazingly- they can deliver up to 12 miles outside of Dumfries. This takeaway is serving up incredible food

2 banging curries, a king prawn dansak and a lamb Naga. Great flavours and a lovely couple running the place. Highly recommended

It was genuinely outstanding. The Special Biryani was packed with flavor, perfectly spiced. The Chana Chat Puri was equally delicious and full of authentic taste. Truly second to none. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for top-quality indian food in the area. I’ll definitely be ordering again!

Ok so I come staggering out of pub p’d as f and starving. Lights still on didn’t realise they were closed. The lovely couple still served me and were so chatty and friendly. I never got they’re names but I want to thank them both for going the extra mile for me. My apologies for keeping you from getting finished and back home. And my thanks for helping me out x edit: burger was awesome

Ordered food from here today. Good portion size and taste was good. Curry was a bit sweet but tasted good.

Genuinely awful service. Ordered take away, took over two hours to arrive. They called me after 90 minutes to say it’ll be 15 minutes and it still took a further 30 minutes… and this was on a Wednesday evening. I also ordered extra chicken and the curry came with 5 pieces of… wait for it BEEF… awful… I don’t normally leave reviews but this is shocking

Having tried many of the Indian restaurants in Dumfries we had given up having Indian takeaways as they were ok but not great. Then we found Anayah’s Kitchen- What a revelation! They create quality, fresh cooked, delicious Indian food. We have tried different dishes from the menu on various occasions and they were all exceptional. Staff were very friendly and they certainly know how to use spices to add depth and flavour to their dishes. Amazing- this is definitely the best Indian restaurant in Dumfries.

Really excellent food, just bear in mind that it is a tiny kitchen and seems to be pretty much a two-person show – so you might want to order well ahead
