The place I planned to do takeout this morning had a delayed opening and I went to Anas’s instead. I really wanted to give this place a good rating and dismissed the recent mixed reviews. Well, you get what you pay for. I ordered the coffee con leche with sugar. The barista/ cashier was very friendly and polite. Coffee was great. No complaint there. I ordered a veg omelet for my 70+ mom and a side of bacon for myself to make my own sandwich on fresh baked bread I bought at another restaurant. That did not happen. Ana’s food looked ok but smelled like week old garbage. We opened both containers and shut them and placed in the trash. Can’t tell you how it tasted as we decided it was safer not to eat it.the bag had brown drippings that were not grease. I don’t discriminate against good food. Some of the best craveable eats I had were from mom and pop shops, and counter service windows. This was my first and last time at Anna’s (maybe go back for coffee). On the plus, service was nice and quick. I hope others have a better experience.

The lunch food was actually really good. I feel that it was truly authentic cuban coffee and food. I got the roast pork with onions, rice, beans, and bread.
It’s a lot of food for how much it is- I didn’t even get to finish but it was so yummy I had to take it to go.
As someone who likes supporting local mom and pops, this place is perfect for a quick bite. The people are also sweet and have good energy. Speak good english too, didn’t feel there was a language barrier.
Only downside is that there’s only a few eating tables outside and you may be better off taking it to go. Otherwise, I highly recommend.

Convenient location to the Southernmost marker tourist photo op on Key West! We magically got parking right out front to brave the throngs a block away, but decided to have brunch here first. Good Call! Excellent coffee and very simple fresh egg, mushroom and cheese sandwiches on delightful bread! Reasonable $ and we got to relax and eat in the shade with a blessed breeze! Bathroom available around back was clean, albeit roasting hot in there.
Then we bypassed the line to grab a quick selfie at the marker between folks doing more formal, carefully posed photos. At the end of the block from Ana’s is a little picturesque beach with nobody much around, so we dipped our toes in Southernmost ocean waters there! Perfect opportunity and all because we got a random place to park in front of Ana’s! Divine Providence
Happy Travels!

Are here for breakfast and came back the next day for lunch. Food was amazing and reasonably priced for the area. The people were friendly and welcoming. Breakfast highlight for me was the Cuban cheese toast -basically a grilled cheese on Cuban bread, it was delicious! Highly recommend a stop here when you are in the area!

Great place for breakfast and lunch. We have visited multiple times during our stay. Almost always busy (during peak travel season) but worth the wait.
The grocery store was good with many necessities as well as alcoholic beverages.

There’s no comparison, short of a trip to Havana, to an Ana’s Cuban sandwich. I see many locals including Cubanos eating here, which corroborates its authentic cred. I haven’t had breakfast here yet, but it always seems busy in the morning, and serves bfast all day. The staff is very friendly, as are the feathered friends who like to watch you eat. I definitely have Ana’s on my short list of must eat restaurants when visiting Key West.

I read a lot of amazing reviews about this place so we stopped in for breakfast one weekday morning. The staff was very helpful and friendly and they have a nice, large menu… loaded with many Spanish breakfast delights and Cuban sandwiches too. It’s a walk-up window with all seating being outside, but on a covered porch. You place your order at the window and they bring it to you once it’s ready.
The items we tried were great! Very tasty and made with fresh ingredients. The kitchen (from what we could see)looked nice and clean. They even have a couple of amazing hot sauces, the habanero one is insanely spicy, but very tasty! Prices are fare as well… I can see why the reviews are so good… definitely worth a visit!
