I was in the area and was hungry for Indian food. I found Anarkali online and decided to try them out. The second I stepped in, I knew it was going to be special. Beautifully decorated, I knew I would have a fantastic experience in our booth.

Other restaurants need to study this place when it comes to service. The staff was amazing and seemed so happy to even be there! The food was so freaking good too. We ordered the garlic naan and cheese naan, they were phenomenal! We also ordered the onion bhaji and it was soooo good with their tamarind sauce! For the main course we ordered the tandoori chicken and the lamb and it was so tender and juicy! Their rice was perfect too!! They gave us rice pudding on the house which was pretty good I’m just not a fan of milk but if you like rice pudding you will love it here! Everything about this place was amazing. Definitely will be back! Probably soon too.

My friends and I got recommendation of this place and went to this cute Indian place for lunch and we absolutely love it. We had garlic nang, butter chicken, venderloo tofu, and Korma fish. The food is really delicious and good portion. The owner is very nice and gave us free ice cream and samosa. Will definitely come back.

Literally the BEST Indian food in all of California and a place I always look forward to eating whenever I visit LA. They have the best samosa, curries, and tandoori ever. The vegetable samosa is crispy, perfectly flavored, and the sauces they serve on the side is my favorite. I also love the staff because they are professional and always smiling. I had the honor of meeting the owners and they started Anarkali 40 years ago. If you guys are in the area then check them out and support a local business.

Loved it! My best friend and I wanted something new and Anarkali was recommended to us by a friend. The food was so good and the service even better! Everyone was so nice and made sure we had everything we needed. The atmosphere was very relaxing and warm. This place is so amazing I’m so happy that we came here we’ve been exploring in and around Melrose and Hollywood all weekend and we decided to have our wedding anniversary dinner here. The host was incredible he was so kind and gentle. The entire staff was more than friendly and checked in with us as well as had some very timely service. They helped us to understand the menu which can be complicated because of the English Indian translation. The place is very authentic looking and I love the design I even love the music that they play it was so peaceful and welcoming. This place was not overly crowded and the dishes just keep coming. They had lots of vegetarian vegan options that we really enjoyed. We even loved the traditional style of eating with our hands it was so wonderful to connect with our food on this spiritual level. The host found out that we had just been married the week before and offered to give us soup on the house as well as got us dessert for free. Again he was such a kind and gentle soul. I’m more than happy to leave this review as I believe this is the best restaurant in town and I really enjoyed it. I really think you should go here and try this bring your whole family to have plenty of room for everyone.
