Great atmosphere. It was a lovely February evening with good ventilation and temperature for a February evening. The music is a funky beat and easy to talk over, a bit like EDM. A man named Drew served as my bartender and Alex does a great job of managing the place. Thanks Drew and Alex. The “Out Past the Orchard” is a yummy cocktail. A mule-type drink made of Brush Creek vodka, spiced apple, lime, and ginger. $15.

Loved everything about the pop up Christmas bar at Anaqua. The moment you walk in you’re greeted by a friendly host, the ambiance is gorgeous and of course our amazing bar/ wait staff was amazing. Specifically Jessie and Drew, they definitely made our experience 10/10. The drinks were delicious and so was the food. I would definitely recommend coming to this bar and definitely during the holiday season.

Drew was an excellent server! We had an amazing time. It was so magical and the great part about it is it is very kid friendly. My daughter was overjoyed with the snow, decor, s’mores she could make and drinks in Christmas shaped cups. Now I’m planning a happy hour here with the other parents we hang out with.

We strolled up on a stormy Saturday afternoon and were greeted by a kind hostess and staff who gave amazing recommendations. Everyone was so attentive and every bite had us wishing for more. We’ll be dreaming of those lobster street corns

We had a great experience at Anaqua Bar thanks to Jessica. She was super nice, welcoming, and made us feel taken care of from the start. We ordered margaritas and they were really good — perfectly balanced and not overly sweet. Jessica’s service made the whole visit even better. Definitely recommend her if you stop by!

We tried Anaqua Garden Bar at the Plaza Hotel in downtown San Antonio tonight for a light meal. The ambiance was relaxing next to a pool and garden with delicious and creative small plates and cocktails (menu included in the post). We just ate at the restaurant although guests are also able to purchase a resort pass to use the pool without staying at the hotel.

From start to finish, our stay at The Plaza San Antonio was incredible. that set the tone for our entire visit.. We hosted a pool party to kick off our conference and were lucky enough to have Delilah and Ale as our servers — and they were AMAZING! Both were friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to make sure everyone was happy and taken care of. Drinks were always topped up, food came out perfectly, and they kept the good vibes going the entire time. Their energy and professionalism made our event extra special. Anaqua’s outdoor seating area was exactly what I needed on this slightly cool overcast day. The comfortable, low to the ground, seating with ample overhead heating created the perfect atmosphere. My brisket Bao buns and Lobster street corn were the perfect ways to fill me up without filling me out! Drews attention to detail and recommendations on cocktails were the personification of intuitive service. Thanks for the great visit!

Aaniyah, my server, was very helpful and so friendly! She recommended the guacapoke which turned out to be really good. I also ordered the chicken skewers, not the biggest fan of those but I’ll be back when I’m in San Antonio again to try the rest of the menu.
