The sushi is consistently well-made—rice seasoned just right, and the fish is always fresh. I especially enjoyed the spicy tuna roll and their salmon nigiri; each bite felt elevated without being over the top.
The atmosphere is intimate and unpretentious, with warm lighting and a friendly buzz. Service was attentive and knowledgeable—I appreciated that the staff took time to explain specials and recommend pairings.
Why not a perfect five? A few menu items felt a bit predictable, and prices were on the upper side—though not outrageous for the quality. Also, it got a touch noisy toward the end of dinner, so it’s better for early evenings or a mellow catch-up.
Overall, Anaba is a dependable choice for sushi lovers who want quality and comfort in one place. I’ll definitely return for those standout rolls.
The atmosphere, though bustling and occasionally loud, reflects the restaurant’s popularity, a testament to its consistent quality. While the prices may lean towards the higher end, the generous portions and exceptional taste justify the expense. Every visit feels like a treat, a chance to indulge in culinary excellence.
Despite the lively ambiance and slightly elevated cost, the overall experience at Anaba Sushi is undeniably positive. The attentive service, coupled with the delectable food, creates a memorable dining occasion. The blend of exquisite sushi and their surprisingly delectable chicken dishes makes Anaba a worthwhile culinary destination, even amidst the hustle and bustle. The quality shines through, making every penny and decibel worth it!
We split the Crabby Heart Attack and I ordered Sushi Combo C. The Crabby Heart Attack was an explosion of flavor and so filling. The salad and miso soup that came with Sushi Combo C were great and all of the nigiri was unbelievably tasty. We also ordered the Fresh Wasabi which was such a wonderful addition to every bite. I will definitely be ordering the fresh wasabi everytime from now on.
The vibe was great, lots of people for a Thursday night, lots of regulars who were chatting at the bar and being super familiar with the staff.
Parking is easy, there is a big shared lot. When you are waiting for a table there are about 3 chairs outside.
