I used to work by the Willowbrook location and just moved to WTC. So glad to have a good Indian spot here. We ordered Goat curry, fish vibdaloo, and the okra appetizer.
All of them were bursting with flavour.
Spicy level is not intense, but we love spice. Next time we’ll be trying a levee higher if they offer it.
I still can’t decide between the goat or fish as my favourite – they were both delicious. Oh we also tied everything over with Gulab Jamuns, warm and sweet. They hit the spot every time.
The only downside was how loud the music was. Not fitting of the vibe. I’m a sucker for darker lighting too but that’s just a personal preference hahaha it seems like all the nice lighting is limited to downtown restaurants these days
Jokes aside everything was great. I’ll definitely be coming back, just hoping the music wont be so loud, a softer more elegant ambiance is much needed in Willoughby Town Centre
I went there for the first time last Saturday night with my friend around 9pm. We were told that the wait time would be about 30 to 40mn but we ended up getting a seat within 15mn. Service was nice, from the usher to the waiter. The food was delicious and nicely presented. It was a bit noisy, but I get it, it was a Saturday night and a few groups were celebrating birthdays. The overall ambiance, though noisy, was pleasant and the live music was really cool. The decor is absolutely beautiful and tables were cleaned very fast.
The best surprise was when the bill came. The prices are already reasonable, but on top of that they were having a 30% discount promo going on to celebrate the opening of a new location in Langley. It made our experience even better .
I highly recommend and I’ll definitely come back very soon.
It honestly tasted like watery tomato soup. There was no rich, thick, creamy tomato flavour at all — which is the whole point of butter chicken. The sauce was extremely thin and tasted like straight tomato water. It’s probably the worst butter chicken I’ve had.
The garlic naan was also disappointing. Instead of using real garlic, it tasted like they just used garlic salt, which made it extremely salty and overpowering rather than flavourful.
I actually called the restaurant and spoke with the general manager, Abishan (not sure if I’m spelling the name correctly). He told me he guarantees their food is good and that they sell over 100 butter chickens a day, but from the quality I received, I honestly just can’t see how that could be possible. The one I got was so, so bad.
For the prices they charge, the quality just wasn’t there. Really disappointing first experience.
Sadly, all of this food will go straight to the trash.
The food was good, I prefer mine with a bit more salt. I did bite into something hard in the butter chicken which scared me, but my tooth was okay. The price was very reasonable as well. We found the butter chicken and rice with naan plenty to share between two. The naan was large.
The vegetable samosas were full of flavor. The sauce they came with was super good. The potatoes in it were delicious, probably some of the best I’ve had.
Our server, Jasmine, was incredibly kind and attentive; she was so sweet and gave us some fantastic recommendations. The manager, Abhi Rai, also went above and beyond to ensure we had the best experience possible. We will definitely come back.
We were there again for another little gathering, and what an amazing time we had. This time we were helped by Jashan, who was such a patient and wonderful person, and apologies if our group was a bit too chaotic at a point . Anywho, a great place, great food and the best of it all, THE MOST wonderful wait staff I’ve ever encountered..
An amazing place to be at for a good time. We stopped here to grab a quick bite and the service was fast. Our server, Jasmine, in particular, was a great help.
A must visit place if you love Indian food with some great live-music.
The staff was very supportive and we enjoyed our time there thoroughly
