This place was recommended by a good friend of mine and she was absolutely on the money! The food was AMAZING! the service was wonderful everyone was so nice and attentive. Seasoning was just perfect not too heavy not too light and authentic Jamaican flavors (taste palette reference I’m also from the Caribbean). Only reason it’s not a 5 star is because we were a bit cramp, we were seated by the door it was not horrible nor did it take away from the experience but if it was bit more spacious it would have been a lot more comfortable at least from from where we were seated. Will def be back.

The food is AMAZING! The brussel sprouts are probably the best thing I’ve ever eaten. I didn’t take a pic because we devoured them before I could. The rest of our meal was also delicious. It’s small but perfect because the restaurant flowed really well. I did feel for the one server on a Saturday night. They could use one person up at the bar area to free up a server for the floor, but overall, a great experience and amazing food!

The food is amazing. It’s fusion Caribbean, Latin, Asian and just generally delicious American standards. All prepared just right. We stopped here at the recommendation of my BIL who recently moved to area. The dining room is cozy and inviting with some smooth reggae beats wafting through the room. MY BIL had been a few times so the staff immediately recognized him and were attentive and friendly the entire night. The menu was tight and had that very curated feeling of a chef who wants to show you his stuff without needing to blow off fireworks to do it. Subtle, spicy and unexpected each dish stood on its own and together was a whole much greater then the sum of its parts. Wish it was closer to Brooklyn. We loved it and will return. Tell your friends and neighbors but save me a seat.

One of the best meals on my week long trip to NYC. Did not expect to find this gem near Woodbury Commons after shopping. A surprise find! Don’t hesitate to skip all the chain restaurants and look up An Artistic Taste. Highly recommended.

Overrated restuarant. Food was fine but the overall service was terrible. They don’t give us water until we ask. Also, they said it takes 25 minutes to get served but we almost waited 35 minutes.

This afternoon my husband and I were returning from.a short stay in Cape May, NJ back to the Albany, NY area. We wanted to find a place to eat and we were just passing the exit for Harriman on the parkway. I found An Artistic Taste, and I’m sure glad I did! I only mentioned coming back from Cape May to say that we had eaten our fair share of seafood. In spite of that I ordered the fish tacos, catered my order so it wasn’t too spicy. These were,hands down, the best fish tacos I’ve had in a long time. My husband had the chicken sandwich and thoroughly enjoyed it. Although it is 1.5 hours from where we live we would DEFINITELY take a ride back to enjoy the amazing food. And did I mention service with a smile! SO GOOD. I went there with my family, and every single thing we ordered was delicious. We had to order seconds of the truffle tater tots. I got the chicken bao buns that were incredible and so tasty. My family ordered the jerk chicken, lobster mac and cheese, also a chick pea dish, all of which, they loved. Also, some of us were gluten free and vegetarian, and everyone had delicious things to order. The service was also great & everyone there was really nice.

We were extremely fortunate to discover An Artistic Taste online today and after a call, arrived as a group of 8 at peak time on Friday night! The Hostess was exceptionally helpful and offered to seat us immediately if they could set us up some tables outside! This suited us perfectly as the 4 kids with us were not distracting to anyone enjoying what seemed to be a lovely atmosphere inside! We enjoyed delightful drinks (cocktails, beers and varied and dreamy non-alcoholic lemonade options) alongside 4 different appetizers, each of which was more delicious and imaginative than the last! Brussel Sprouts out of this world, but also recommend Beets and Buns! Between us we ordered 8 mains (7 different choices, one for a child with complex allergies) which arrived together and all looked and tasted spectacular! We also had 2 vegetable sides (GET THE PLANTAINS!).
