Went here for breakfast/brunch on a Saturday
Place was crowded but we were sat immediately. A very Jersey diner feel here. The menu is enormous, so bring your reading glasses. Service was attentive given the size and number of customers. The food was good. I ordered the Barnyard Chicken. The eggs were done well and the chicken was tasty. I wasn’t a big fan of the cheese sauce. It had a “cheese wiz” consistency but tasted OK. Others ordered the Southern Sampler, Scrapple skillet and the Philly Steak and Egg sandwich. Everyone was happy with their dishes. The servings were large, so you’ll be bringing home leftovers. I see complaints about the price but honestly, I think everything was priced well. There was a online coupon that saved some $, so look into that if you go. In all, not a bad breakfast spot. We’d like to go back and try the waffles and pancakes, they looked amazing.

The food is excellent and portions large. Our server Aaron is one of the best we’ve ever had. He’s professional, courteous and makes you feel welcome to be there. We request him every time. An awesome restaurant!

We FINALLY made it out to Amy’s. No excuse for how long it took us, but we will be back. Very soon.

Starting with the good: The menu is huge. Something for everyone. I was surprised and extremely happy to even see lunch options, but no — today, I was there for breakfast food.

The place itself is gorgeous. What they did with the diner I frequented my entire childhood is nothing short of amazing. The big, beautiful strawberry cow? The rotary phone booth? Jersey pride shines everywhere.

The first thing I noticed on the menu was that the drink selection surpassed my expectations. Mixed juices, amazing lattes. Very impressive combinations that did not disappoint.

Everyone we interacted with was very friendly. Our server was fantastic. He made an honest mistake when my husband ordered the “country sampler” and was served another dish with “country” in the title. We only mentioned it in case someone else was looking for that dish, but he made it right at no charge. Super apologetic for something that wasn’t a big deal. When my husband did get his country fried chicken, he raved about it. My son loved his ham and cheese omellete. I ordered the Taco Loco. It was good, but I wasn’t a fan of the presumably jarred salsa on top. I had to scrape all the goodies on top off to avoid it. The quality of everything else was so high, and the flavors would be enhanced with a fresh pico. I wouldn’t order this particular omelette again, but luckily there is SO much more to choose from.

I thought the menu said omelettes were served with toast, but we didn’t get any. I didn’t love the home fries and found them mushy, but I’m more of a hash brown girl myself. They offer tons of substitutions, which is pretty sweet. I’ll try them deep fried next time and I bet they’ll be great.

Finally, for a breakfast place, customers need more than one napkin. Sticky juices, sticky syrup, sticky fruit… more napkins on the table would come in clutch.

Regardless, I can’t wait to return.

Updated to say every return visit has been a 5 star experience!

So been wanting to try this place since I’ve heard about it and I wasn’t disappointed. Food was very good. I got French Toast plate (Banana Carmel Crunch) and Two eggs and homefrie platter with added bacon. Everything was cooked great. ( Only side comment would be more of the sauce that comes with the french toast on it )
My friends kid got a burger with fries. He said it was good. Had some leftovers for later.
Staff is super friendly and attentive. Very clean looking. Will definitely have to go back and try some more of their options.

When we went it seemed there was only 2 working the whole room. Maybe short staffed for the day. Our waitress was kind and answered our questions, I just felt there should have been another person.
Food was excellent though.

Went on a Sunday at about noon. Was crowded but had about a 5 min wait. Menu was enormous! Love the potato pancakes here! When they first opened the potato pancakes were too crispy but now they have perfected them! Love all the choices on the menu. Has the French toast and bacon with potato pancake. Awesome French toast and bacon was done to perfection also! Yum! A must if you are in this area.

I won’t be returning to this location. The food was fine, the service was awful. Even less than subpar. The host at the front looked like he was there against his will. Our server Jayden was extremely inattentive. Never once asked us if everything was ok or if there was anything he could get us, never asked if we wanted our coffee cups filled (even as he walked by with a coffee pot), had to ask him multiple times for cream and sugar (eventually had to ask another server since we prefer to drink our coffee hot), had to ask him twice for our sides and toast, and, once again, had to call out to him so that we could get our check and get out of there. All of the tables in Jayden’s section seemed to experience the same service, which is unfortunate considering the other servers seemed to be much more attentive.

I’ll take the local diner with better prices and excellent service over this Amy’s location any day.

The diner is clean, and the service is friendly and attentive. There are dozens of omelettes to choose from, offering great variety. The portions are generous, so you won’t leave hungry, but I think it would’ve been better if the portions were smaller and the prices were lower. My main concern was the oversized coffee mug—it’s unnecessary and makes it hard to get the right balance of cream and sugar. On the plus side, I appreciated the “scan to pay” feature on the receipt, which made checkout quick and easy. Overall, it’s a nice spot with a few areas for improvement.

My husband and I went there for brunch and were amazed at how well they used and transformed the space. The decor was adorable and very creative. There are 2 different dining rooms-one was a twist on a speakeasy and the other had more of a modern pop diner vibe.

Food: TONS of options to choose from, prices were average, staff was punctual and aware of when we needed him.
My husband got the waffles, eggs, and sausage meal with a side of home fries and I got one of their specials that day, apple walnut pancakes. Food was made quickly and we found out they were HUGE plates of food! Be prepared to eat, or take home left overs. My meal was ok. I wasn’t as thrilled with it as I hoped -the apples on top weren’t cooked and it was more like someone chopped up an apple and threw it on top. The amount of walnuts were insane. The pancakes themselves were amazing though!
My husbands meal was pretty good & the home fries were amazing! He was pleased. Drinks: OJ & peppermint hot coco. The hot coco is a MUST, please just believe me!! OJ was fresh squeezed but a little tart for me.

Safe to say, we had leftovers to take home! Although I wasn’t as big of a fan of my meal, the other food I ate and the drink made up for. We will be going back for sure!
*They also offer the option to order and pick up, which comes with a discount for picking up your food.

Before I get to amys Route 30 sucks to be on buuutt places like amys is worth it. Service is definitely experienced players and are very efficient and courteous. They bloody Mary comes with enough toppings to be a meal but are absolutely delicious. The meals themselves are massive and very good. It is pricey but you do get your money’s worth.
