The Amsterdam burger was a good burger, as was the Amsterdam salad. But I prefer the southwestern steak bowl. I tried both the BBQ and Lobster Eggrolls.
The BBQ eggroll is best split between more than one person, or becomes one note by the end. The sauce is a mustard base.
The Lobster Eggroll is a spicy citrus sauce, fruit preserve based. I ate it without loosing interest.

This was a first time to try Amsterdams. When we arrived we had just missed the crowd thankfully! I order the steak sandwich with sweet potato chips. J ordered the nachos with guacamole and chicken.
The food was fair much like cafe would be. The service was fine and quiet atmosphere since we missed the rush.

Food quality is really terrible. My husband’s steak “bowl” was a tiny portion of gristly meat. My crab cake and avocado sandwich was burnt and with a small sliver of slimy avocado, complete with cold, stale fries. As someone who will eat just about anything, I’m throwing my plate in the trash. $15 for burnt and nasty. We won’t be returning.

Laid back great bar food you order at the counter, they gave us a buzzer but someone brought out meal to the table. The blackened mahi po boy way great. Nice size fish, grilled with blackened seasoning and still moist.
They also have a full bar, sports tvs and outdoor seating

Customer service was absolutely great, however, the food was awful. I got the tenders and fries. They didn’t even look like tenders:(. I only ate a few fries, I couldn’t eat the tenders. The only thing that tasted good was my sprite. My sister got the crab cake, along with the Mac & fried chicken (chicken was super burnt), she hated it as well. I hate I had a bad experience considering that it was my very first time.

This location is a slightly scaled down version of Amsterdam closer to Auburn’s campus. Orders are taken at the counter and your food is delivered to your table. The menu offers more casual fare such as appetizers, burgers and sandwiches, chicken, salads, but should accommodate everyone’s taste. The pimento cheese appetizer is a favorite of ours. We have tried many menu selections and enjoyed them all. Most of the drinks (Coke, etc.) are self-service. We stop here frequently and have never been disappointed.

It’s not like their downtown cafe. It was a order and pay at the counter line and find yourself a table. There is outside seating available. The food was great but very limited menu. The place was packed, which was at lunch time.

The food is always delicious. My personal favorites are the chicken alfredo, cobb salad, and chicken tenders. The prices are a bit up there on menu items that should be cheaper (e.g., the turkey wrap) but I just order what I feel is worth it.

I love almost everything about this restaurant. But when they get overwhelmed (which is often), they completely shut down. No phones, and they stop taking orders. No waiting … they just turn you away. The last time this happened to us, we asked, “Really? We can’t order at all and wait?” And the young girl behind the counter said, rudely, “Duh! Look at all these orders!” (As she scrolled thru the screen). Embarrassed us. No reason for that.
Btw, I tried to just call the manager instead of posting but due to high volume, they aren’t taking calls. Point made.

This place is ridiculous. You pay 9 dollar for a 3 oz container of queso and stale chips. The Steak Fritas was so fatty, there was no meat, and it was chewy. This place has definitely went down hill fast since it opened. Do not wleat here is you want good food.
