We ordered chicken fried rice. The first time they served it, it had no spice and no salt. It was completely bland and tasteless.
When I told them about it, instead of properly remaking the dish, they just added chili powder and black pepper on top and gave back the same rice. It didn’t fix the problem. It just tasted like raw spice thrown over plain rice.
Very poor handling of customer feedback and disappointing food quality. I wouldn’t recommend this place.

We ordered Stuffed Mirchi bajji – it was so dry and mirchi was undercooked inside, stuffing is just raw onions.
Gobi noodles and egg noodles has the same seasoning- it’s just chilies and pepper but adds no taste. We also ordered egg dosa which was served so late, the dosa was good but the chutneys were not fresh and tasty.

I wish I was able to rate the food more than 5 stars. Came here with my mom and we got to dine in at around 6 pm. The staff were very patient with us and were quick to make us our orders. By far the best Indian food I have ever eaten. We got a whole meal for less than 30 bucks which includes appetizers, entrée, and a drink. I will warn those that dont handle spicy well taste it is indeed VERY spicy but it is so addicting that it doesn’t matter. If you feel sick defs come here to help with your sinuses. My mom came here while she was feeling bad and she ate some and said she never felt better afterwards. HIGHLY recommend everyone to come and try this place especially if you have never had Indian before.
PS: I recommend trying the plantain thing they have with the fish. It is so soft and divine. The whole experience was a food-gasm.

I had a bad experience at this place and I kept bad review and after speaking with them they were sorry about the issue and offered me replacement but I am ok with that and came after a week and ordered same food again which I ordered earlier fried rice and guess what it tastes really good and the meat is soo tender and good . There is not even oil in the bottom of the bowl . The best fried rice I had so far . I really appreciate these people for taking the feedback and trying to work on those which is the best quality any business should have. I think they are going to rock in this food business if they work same as this always.

If you’re not Indian, I honestly don’t recommend this place. I waited over 30 minutes after being told my order would take 10. During that time, multiple Indian customers ordered after me and received their food within 5–10 minutes. My order—and another non-Indian customer’s—was ignored. On top of that, the staff member was extremely surly and rude, acting like he was already angry before speaking to customers. Very uncomfortable experience.

We ordered Gobi Fried Rice. They sprinkled “garam masala” on top. It seems that the rice were not fresh. Quality has gone down substantially. Do not recommend.

Chicken curry was spicy but had decent flavor. Puris were fresh. Dosa was fresh. Egg dosa had a lot of hear. Plain dosa with peanut chutney was great.

House of Tiffins, a South Indian food truck, is praised for its authentic homestyle flavors and variety, offering popular items like crispy pungulu, different kinds of dosas and even specials such as chicken curry served with poori. Customers highlight the freshness of the food, with dosas crisp and well-seasoned, chutneys flavorful, and snacks like pungulu capturing true South Indian street-style taste. The menu’s mix of vegetarian staples and hearty non-veg options.

I loved Amruta vilas on wheels, Especially for their street-style noodles — the flavors are bold, spicy, and perfectly balanced, just like the ones from a food stall back home in India. It’s easily become my go-to comfort meal here in Kansas!
