We had such a great meal here. We ordered the mattar paneer, goat rogan josh, aloo paratha, and tandoori roti with butter and everything was honestly so good. The flavors were spot on and the spice level was perfect. We asked for really spicy food and they actually listened, it came out exactly how we wanted and tasted amazing.

We’ve been to a few different locations before and always liked it, but this one is definitely our favorite. A huge reason for that is Sanjay. His service was incredible, super kind, attentive, and genuinely caring. He took the time to listen to what we wanted, checked in on us without being overbearing, and made the whole experience better. Sanjay is the best!

I recently visited Amritsar Indian Restaurant in Soi 11, Sukhumvit, and had a genuinely satisfying experience. If you’re craving authentic North Indian food in Bangkok, this place is definitely worth trying.

The taste is truly homely, rich, flavourful, and very close to what you get in India. The menu has a great variety of veg and non-veg options, and everything we ordered was well-prepared with balanced spices.

The ambience is cozy and comfortable, making it a nice spot for both families and groups. The staff is friendly, attentive, and always ready to guide you with recommendations.

Given its location in the lively Sukhumvit 11 area, it’s easy to access and a great stop if you want proper Indian food after exploring the neighborhood. Prices are reasonable for the portion and quality.

Overall, a highly satisfying Indian dining experience in the heart of Bangkok. Would definitely visit again!

Amritsr Restaurant on Sukhumvit Soi 11 delivered one of the best North Indian dining experiences I’ve had. The atmosphere is warm, and the food truly lives up to its name—a “Maharaja of Indian Cuisine.”
We focused on the non-vegetarian specialties, and every dish was exceptional:
• Mutton Barrah (Lamb Chops): A clear highlight! These large, smoky lamb chops were marinated perfectly, charred beautifully in the tandoor, and incredibly tender. A definite must-order.
• Whole Tandoori Fish: Flawlessly cooked. The fish was moist and encased in a vibrant, spiced crust. The use of fresh herbs and a wedge of lime made it incredibly aromatic and fresh.
• Mutton Curry (Rogan Josh or similar): The curry was rich, deep red, and robustly spiced—a wonderful, slow-cooked gravy that paired perfectly with the breads.
• Breads: The selection of naan/kulcha was fresh, buttery, and perfectly fluffy.
We finished the meal with delicious, comforting classics: creamy Mango Lassi (or similar sweet drink, beautifully presented with slivered nuts) and soft, syrup-soaked Gulab Jamun.
The service was prompt and attentive. If you love authentic, high-quality Punjabi cuisine, especially their tandoor specials, this is the place to go in Bangkok! Highly recommended.

I recently visited Amritsr Restaurant on Sukhumvit and had a pleasant overall dining experience, especially if you’re craving authentic North Indian flavors.
I ordered the Chole Kulche, and it truly stood out. The chole was rich, well-spiced, and packed with authentic Punjabi flavors, perfectly balanced without being overly oily. The kulche were soft, fresh, and paired exceptionally well with the chole. This dish alone made the visit worthwhile—it was genuinely amazing and felt close to traditional homemade taste.
I also ordered a pizza, which tasted good in terms of flavor and freshness. However, the portion size was noticeably small compared to the price charged. While the quality was decent, the value for money didn’t quite match expectations, especially when compared to similar offerings at other restaurants in the same price range.
Overall Impression:
The food quality, especially the Indian dishes, is impressive, and the restaurant delivers well on taste and authenticity. However, portion sizing for certain items could be improved to better justify the pricing.

Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐☆ (4/5)

Highly recommended for Indian cuisine lovers—particularly for dishes like Chole Kulche—but do keep an eye on portion sizes when ordering items.

Absolutely excellent Indian food!
The food here is outstanding — full of authentic Punjabi flavor and pure comfort. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, making it the perfect spot to enjoy some real Indian comfort food in Bangkok. I especially recommend the Butter Chicken, Chicken Biryani, and Garlic Naan — all were absolutely delicious and beautifully cooked. Chicken tikkas were a bit hard to chew and bite. Gilauti kebabs were soso and served on very hard to eat naan/roti. Didn’t enjoy the dry-dry combination. 1 extra stars for ambiance and good Chole Bhature and fish tikka. Service was not amazing. They forgot to add on something and didn’t repeat orders after taking the, order. Spent lot of time waiting for food and LIT which took ages to come.
