We had a great experience at Amrit. The food was full of flavor, well spiced, and clearly prepared fresh. The curries were rich without being heavy, and the naan was soft and perfectly baked.

Service was fast, polite, and efficient, even though the place was busy. The staff knew the menu well and gave clear recommendations.

The atmosphere is casual and comfortable, suitable for both a relaxed dinner and a quick meal. Portions are generous and prices are fair for the quality.

If you are looking for reliable, well executed Indian cuisine in Berlin, this place delivers. Would definitely return.

Amrit is declared the best restaurant in Germany according to their website. I don’t know whether it’s the best but it’s really good
Amrit was the first restaurant that I ate in Berlin so it’s close to my heart. For starters I had chicken 65, paneer pakoras and amritsari crispy chicken. There were so nice that I ordered another three, the flavours were immaculate, so tasty. I couldn’t get enough.
I think my favourite was chicken 65, I gobbled that up so quickly.
For main I had a lamb Kerala, it was meant to be spicy but it didn’t feel like it was but still it was amazing. I loved the flavours. I highly recommend this main. Especially when the state of Kerala has irradiated poverty which is highly impressive.
The cheese naan was pretty nice as well.
The service that I received at Amrit was first class, the staff were really friendly, explained the menu really well and they brought food quickly which was nice.
The restaurant is lovely and scenic, it’s a big place so it can seat a lot of people.
I highly recommend Amrit, it’s certainly one of the best restaurants in Berlin

Excellent! The food was delicious and the staff was fantastic. The waiter Niki served us and, with a pleasant conversation, made this place even better. :)))
The interior, the music, and the whole atmosphere create a really welcoming vibe.
Cocktails were great!
We stumbled upon this place by accident and we didn’t regret it!

Beautiful looking restaurant and well located at Potsdamerplatz (next to the station). Delicious food – I had the samosas and Mamun took great care of me. He asked the chef to make something off menu and came up with a Chicken Methi Malai curry…. Outstanding! Highly recommend this restaurant – friendly and attentive staff.

Good food and hospitality. Samosa and chicken murgh tikka was delicious.

Garlic naan was good but should be little thin n crispy though.

Service was bit poor last time, as had to wait 10 minutes for bowls 🙁 they should also allow Naan instead of Rice with any curry , like many other allows. so removed 1 star 🙂

Hope you click LIKE if you find this review useful 🙂

Went in to try after noticing that the restaurant was full and lively. Restaurant is very spacious and ambience is good. Service is good too. But, food was a disappointment, mainly biryani – hence the 3 star.

Mosquito moctail: 4/5
Amritsari crispy chicken: 4/5
Amrit pan biryani: 0/5 … This isn’t your regular biryani. Felt like bland chicken pieces added to rice (non basmati) that’s cooked separately. Nuts and raisins spoilt it further.

We tried both veg and non-veg options.

Amritsari crispy chicken and Bombay chicken Masala is must try.
We also tried cocktails like Mango colada and Bombay night which are amazing we also tried Mango Lassi which was thin but hood taste.
We also ordered Veg biryani which was not a Basmati rice biryani. It was more like one pot, khichadi, and full of raisins, this was a disappointment.
Overall very nice experience.

My husband has lived in Berlin for four years and this was his most disappointing experience with respect to Indian food in Berlin. We entered the restaurant hungry and excited looking at the google reviews. Once we entered we preferred to order roti/naan and a curry to go with it ( because that’s always the safest option abroad) but since it was a Saturday evening the waiter mentioned it was probably going to take very long and nudged us against it. He asked us to pick any rice, so we opted to their chicken and veg biryani along with some chilli panner. Firstly, it was really disappointing to see that the table next to us who came 30 mins after us ordered naan and receiving it in less than 10 mins. So that left us wondering why we were asked to “understand” and adjust. Secondly, once the food arrived after almost 20-30 mins of waiting it was nothing short of disappointment, in terms of quantity and quality. I have attached pictures of both below, the chicken biryani in particular was much lesser than the vegetarian one in terms of quantity. From quality point of view, this meal dint even feel like it was prepared fresh, the veggies were soggy and clearly prepared from frozen vegetables. Chicken biryani was definitely from a pre cooked meal as well. The only saving grace for the meal was the mango lassi which lets be honest is available and the same everywhere. We dint go looking for standards and quality of a traditional Indian food, even with to the bar set so low the food was a disappointment.

Butter chicken was good and nicely cooked. However the rice on the side had some mushy, overcooked parts that I didnt like. I also tried the garlic naan, but I didn’t enjoy it; its just a bread with some oil and garlic on top. The mocktail was delicious. The atmosphere at the restaurant is nice and the service is quick. I liked that.
