I’ve been going to Mul’s breakfast for over 25 years. When they were across the street at the old location. The Working man’s special and I believe they used to have a Big Dig special too, we’re always a draw. I’ve known them mostly for the most amazing corned beef hash ever. Awesome breakfast (love the NY strip and Irish breakfast) the staff is great. The establishment is clean and easy to park and to get service. Manmosa’s and Bloody Mary’s are available in the am and are delicious. Love this place and would recommend anyone stopping in anytime for a meal or just drinks.

I had high expectations given the good reviews but Amrheins was honestly pretty disappointing. They were short staffed and we waited almost 30 minutes after being seated before our server even came to us. The food was a mixed bag. The spicy broccoli appetizer and mushroom burger were delicious. The caeser salad and calamari were pretty good. But the pork chop, though it had good flavor, was dry and tough. The chicken parm was not very flavorful and was soggy, the pasta was overcooked and the sauce was downright bad (way too watery and strong raw canned tomato flavor). The turkey tips weren’t anything special and the accompanying risotto was watery, bland, and not cheesy at all. The crème brûlée was honestly the worst I’ve had, with inconsistent texture throughout and not a great flavor. The prices were good though. Our server Donna was super nice though, and the wait time wasn’t her fault at all. Overall, I would give this place a 5/10. Wouldn’t come here again and wouldn’t recommend it.

Very cool to hang out in a Southie bar where my great grandfather used to eat and drink. And got to go with my mother and my son. Very good pub fare. Chicken pot pie was different and somewhat unorthodox but very good. Buffalo dip was amazing. The haddock was fresh and well balanced. We had a newer waiter so I don’t want to totally skewer the service staff but very basic things like “vegetables get served with butter” apparently had not yet been disseminated to our guy. Nice to find they have a parking lot with handicap parking for my mother. Overall good experience. Highly recommend and will go again.

We went for breakfast. I had the number 5 and my husband had a build your own omelet. It was delicious and good prices. It was the best breakfast we had all week. Not a lot of staff so she was a little behind because a few tables came at once I guess. She was hostess and server. I didn’t see another server.

A charming place in a charming city… My crew and i met here for a work dinner meeting some vendors. The food was a bit underwhelming but the staff made up with great service and personable attitudes.

Being in Boston, i ordered fish and chips and while the fish was fried perfectly golden and crunchy, i struggled to find any flavor. I also had an espresso martini from the bar, nothing special there either. For dessert we shared the cheesecake and the crème brûlée. Both desserts were good but nothing to write home about.

All and all, i would come back based on the great serviced we received and the inviting atmosphere.I’d love to try something else on the menu to see if maybe i did not get their best dish.

Food was pretty good. A bit overpriced but it was our first time in Boston so maybe everything is priced higher than what we’re used to. There was a young child who was apparently the child of an employee who had free reign of the place, including going into the kitchen area. Obviously we dont know what all she may have touched in there, but this is not something we necessarily wanted to see while dining there.

Went with some friends for breakfast the food was fine but the service sucked. I asked my waitress for a knife and she responded “do you really need a knife? You don’t need them for scrambled eggs, and you’re almost done with your French toast.” She refused to give me a knife and waters. Short grey haired woman with tats. Disappointing.

The service was not friendly at all and we were intimidated to ask for anything because we were noticed how much any otder annoyed the service member. Everytime we wanted to order an additional drink, we got the stinky eye from the waitress. The athmosphere was just very noisy, but OK. The food was delicious. However, we waited almost an hour for the food and two out of eight orders came out incorrect.

What a wonderful find. We were walking around looking for a restaurant near our hotel. Its a family style historic restaurant with great food at a decent price. We especially liked the pumpkin risotto. I’d never had it but it was delicious and seemed appropriate for the fall.
